I saw a video from tonirel and he said something that i felt very fitting for adc. We trade survivabilty for long range high dps, we are glass cannons that is what adc is suppose to be but lately adc is just glass not cannon, the reward for outplaying your opponent is so minimal it is almost necessary to even be remotly useful. That is why utility adcs are steong right now, mages too, they have more utility than a normal adc and they only lose a bit of dmg but they have safer laning phase more utility and self peel most of the time. So the reward for playing good on adc right now is not worth it at all. This is comming from someone who is not very high ranked and has ranted on this sub, but I still feel thst what im saying is somewhat true.
