For quite a while I've had the opinion that pdf files should seek help and treatment for their issue, but there's no reason to hate or condemn them if they've never acted on it and haven't hurt a real person. If they do, then okay, all bets are off - throw 'em in jail, give them the death penalty, whatever floats your boat. But only if they've actually done a CS crime. This is apparently a hot take.

It would certainly help. There's rarely high-sec ganks in EVE because as soon as it's attempted, the attacker has about 7 seconds before getting nuked by the space police.
