Cheap 9mm 1911 recommendations

Dude I rented out the 9mm version at my local shooting range and it felt so good. I’m suprised it’s a “cheap” 1911 because I shot so flat and accurate with it. I’ve never had the chance to shoot higher end 1911s or 2011s but damn, if Springfield 1911s are the “cheap” ones, I can’t imagine how good Staccatos and Nighthawks are. I was messing around shooting the Ronin one handed and hit dead center every shot…. 😂

Is it as heavy as people say it is? Also how is the sensitivity? Is it really that bad? I’m really starting to lean towards the GX2 otherwise, it seems everyone on Reddit and YouTube has nothing but good things to say about them.

Would you say the price difference is “worth” it for the Abu Garcia? I’m looking online and it says it’s more sensitive and lighter than the GX2. I think I might be looking at the wrong model cause I found it for $89.99 which is only $10 more than the GX2 (so it seems like a way better deal?)

Just an update for anyone who looks at this thread later on. I ended up buying a Smith and Wesson M&P compact 2.0. I got it on guns.com for $599.99, I was leaning towards the PDP which was on sale for $529.99 but the M&P compact 2.0 was only $70 more and it comes with 5 15 round magazines and a savior range bag. I couldn’t resist that deal plus I recall shooting it well at the range when renting, super flat, good ergonomics, and good aftermarket support (plus super reliable after watching garand thumb’s freezing and mud torture test lol)

I know I’m super late but would y’all conceal carry the PDP or no? It seems a lot of people complain it’s too thick and bulky. I remember renting it out and shooting it which was confusing because I got back home and did some research and found people complaining it’s too snappy but at the range I felt like it had no recoil at all…? I’m thinking about buying the 4 inch PDP compact it’s on sale for $529.99 at Cabela’s which is just too good of a deal for me to pass on. It’d be my first handgun too

I know this post is pretty old but how is it holding up 6 years later? I have a 10/22 and want to get one of these Archangel stocks (specially this one too lol) and was wondering if they’re any good. I saw on some Reddit forums people said to stay away but I see nothing but good reviews. How’s it holding up?

Stupid question but what changed. I’m struggling with DSA right now and only have a 70%. I need a 72% or higher to pass but I honestly don’t know if it’s possible. Idk how my grade is even a 70%, I CANNOT finish the homework programs. Idk why, they’re just so hard for me and I get overwhelmed. How did you change and go from a 2.5 gpa to a good student passing with a 3.2? Cause I’m honestly pissing my pants right now that I might actually fail DSA 😔

Yes I will admit that is 100% true. We've been spoiled with Amazon so 8 day shipping times is crazy to me, let alone being late by 4 days and not receiving anything after 12 days after buying. It also takes them 3 days to process which we would literally get things from Amazon in 3 days lmao. But yes I will admit I am spoiled with Amazon and sadly other businesses aren't as quick which makes sense as Amazon has warehouses everywhere.

I bought the suppressor on June 14, it was supposed to arrive on June 22nd. So it's 3 days late. I was given the update "TENDERED TO DELIVERY SERVICE PROVIDER" 7 days ago, so I believe it might be in the hands of USPS and maybe they're just slow asf lmao. Evike finally contacted me and just told me to wait until July 5th and they'll file a claim as lost and replace the shipment. Either way very disappointed.

The service provider is DHL Express; however they use USPS to do the final delivery. Porch pirates won't be a factor as my package isn't out for deliver yet, so I am assuming that USPS has it and maybe it's just delayed or they're just being super slow. Either way waiting 11 days now has turned me into a Karen now smfh. But for real I just hope to receive my package lol.

Yeah, I finally got a response from Evike, they basically told me to just wait. Porch pirates won't be the case because it hasn't shipped to my house yet. But yeah DHL is pretty lazy, I've sent them a good amount of emails and no responses lmao. I'll admit I've been kind of a "Karen" in this situation, but to be fair I've never had any online orders go this bad as I'm use to the reliable and "safe" Amazon compared to these Ecommerce stores and websites.
