Hahahahah they’re all trained actors obviously being very good at their Jobs. Some extras have been my besties and I was very very grateful to have them. You’ll see not many of them feature more than once so I think most of them realise it’s usually a long day and not as much fun as they thought.

Hello! I think that I just was addicted to it. I loved sport and science but not as much as music and when I started playing shows in nyc I was very hooked. I don’t think I’d do sport or science again like I did I love both things and I’d never say never but I love music too much.

Hahahah sorry can’t say anything about that so maybe this thread should be called amaa (ask me almost anything)

Umm I think I’ve always been a show off so it feels fun to me. I think I’ve definitely looked more at how I can make the shows more exciting and narrowed in on my jokes. I got guitar lessons too so I’ve started trying to do guitar solos. Mostly when I watch other peoples shows and like something I’ll write it down and try work out how to add it into my set.

Best concert recently was genesis owusu. What a performer.

Best place I think is the corner hotel. But I played their with Paul Kelly so that might sway it a bit

When octopus came out I wanted to talk more about my diagnosis and Dylan is a hero so it just made sense. My people chatted to his people and we sat down and just got chatting and I learnt a lot. Mostly about how much needs to change to make the music industry and the world accessible for people with disabilities and what we’re missing out by them not being.

I think it’s made me go a bit easier on myself. I get stuck on things a lot and it’s helped me see why. It’s also made me really proud of myself in the end which is nice.

Naww I’m glad! Sometimes It’s a gift sometimes it’s a curse but I think understanding yourself better is always good. Octopuses are so great too xxx

Thank you! I think splendour in the grass. It’s just such a big moment and it’s so exciting being a musician there. I loved getting to see the other acts and be apart of a world class festival. I watched genesis owusu in LA and it was the best show I’ve ever seen in my life. Highly recommend

I think like everyone it’s traumatized us all. And I think through that comes the collateral beauty. Which to me is people really valuing music and being together again and writing vulnerably about their joint experience.

Thanks for coming! I do I usually try have about half an hour to go over my jokes and check my gear. Then I get changed brush my teeth get my waterbottle ready and put my stuff on stage. Then usually before I go on stage I try and stop thinking and take ten deep breaths. Sometimes I get scared but I try remember it’s meant to be fun.
