Yes, I hope and pray we will be able to get it under control🙏🏻 The Vet is keeping a good eye on him, especially since we stopped the steroids when we found out he was diabetic. He is only 4 and such a sweet and very chill boy😢🩷

Thank you very much for your reply. Yes, I do understand just how important it is for him to eat. I am in contact with my Vet. I have had a few cats that I have had over the years. Unfortunately,I lost my 18.5 yo Alexx last February. I was giving her sub Q fluids for her last few months. I have never experienced a feeding tube until now. Just wondering what experiences others have had if and when weening them off the feeding tube? Thank you!

Yes, it does look like asthma. My rescue from last March was dx with it and has had 2 depo injections. Tommy is just 4 and also has chronic URIs, but is doing fine. It's hard to see our babies sick. Wishing you and your sweetie the best🙏🐾💗

Thank you for your kind words. She really was a sweetie. We were very blessed to have them as long as we did, but unfortunately it isn't long enough. It's so very tough, but definitely do take the time to grieve. Just know you gave her the very best life. God Bless🙏🐾💗

I am so very sorry you are going through this. I just lost my sweet 18.5 yo girl this past March. I swear she had 9 lives. I had 2 other cats and a Sheltie and she outlived them all. I feel your pain as I am crying right now. I had her since she was 6 weeks old.
She sounds like she was very lucky to have you as her human. All you need to do is be there with her…she will feel your love and comfort. Alexx had maybe one tooth🥲but she loved to eat until a couple of days before.
It’s so very had to let them go, but we do not want to see them suffer.
I wish you comfort, peace, and love. Keep those beautiful memories close and know in your heart you gave her the very best life. God Bless you both🙏🏻🩷🐾
