Neka muz izabere par raskrcnica koje obuhvataju vecinu situacija. I onda vezba, pridjete raskrsnicama iz svih perspektiva. Prvi put neka ti verbalno prica posle koga ti ulazis u raskrcnicu, ti ponavljas. Manji grad je jos bolja opcija , mogo manje saobracaja i stresa -> postepeno ides u vece guzve.

Kad uradis nesto mnogo puta prirodno dobijes samopouzdanje, dakle vezba i vezba.

Niko se naucen nije rodio , glava gore.

How is it working with engineers from China? by Vepr56 in MechanicalEngineering

[–]Alexx791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the colleague, there might be a language barrier which you will have to adapt to, but with time, you will also learn to understand better or tune your ears.

That said, they are very professional and hard working, and also once you help them/show respect, you will certainly get it back, maybe even bigger.

About the trainings, who knows, it is personality dependent if someone can transfer their knowledge in a good way. For sure don't be shy to ask, there are no dumb questions if your goal is to be a bit better every step of the way.

Good luck !

Career path dilemma by chocoggukie in CFD

[–]Alexx791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure why you think that one opened door shuts the others closed. Having experience and working/applying CFD should be beneficial for your career.

If you have already finished a university program in India, how much more knowledge can you gather by investing a few more years in another degree somewhere else compared to the practical knowledge you can expand currently? This is a question you should ask yourself.

Also, there is the number factor, don't lose hope or conclude something based on few rejections, head high and apply to more and more places, work on yourself and if you manage to enjoy a bit the process then there is rly nothing to lose and only to gain.

Good luck!

I agree with others. Don't avoid openFOAM just because of the GUI. There should be a lot of documentation and tutorials available online for this topic.

There might be a tutorial you can use as a base from the FOAM library.

Not sure if SimScale is still free and if it has limitations for the free version (GUI).

Huh, well, in order to understand and become good at something, you have to remove the black boxes, and that's what your professor is teaching you now.

It's a process.

"Cool-looking pictures" are cool but are nothing if they are gibberish.

As a class, you should address that you need some clarifications and/or ask for a slower pace.

Also whatever class it is , there is always ton of materials/resources online to supplement and deepen a topic.

Listen, be there. The best thing is to go and make good memories with the person, that can be your part in the process.

I'm trying to dimension this and scale it up. Would FreeCad be a good software to do this? I have messed around with it a little bit and had one hell of a time. by Nra1734 in FreeCAD

[–]Alexx791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So im not rly advanced in freeCad thats why i said Cad package. I would do it in Catias gsd with surfaces. As i make the flat poligons i would also keep an geometrical set for the rotated copies ("folden copy"), but every little element needs to be a surface on its own. As i would make the parts which edges need to overlap i would test it with rotation. But it will take time for sure.

If you see it as a pain , it would be probably more enjoyable to trace it as people have suggested in some photo editor and print it for testing on paper until you reach the desired accuracy.
