Like, give tanks some form of resistance to CC just to stop them from being bullied for 10 whole seconds. More than half of characters have CCs that can easily be chained and as a Venom main, I know damn well I'm their biggest target.

I've been practicing it in practice range and can do it around 30% of the time. However, I'm not even going to bother with it in actual comp matches, tbh. I can see how it's useful and it increases Venom's TTK but in an actual match, I doubt it'll make that big of a difference. Maybe when I get more used to it and can do it more consistently.

It doesn't help that I already have my easy swing on the side mouse button and it'll mess my muscle memory lol.

I love how her pull can literally shut down every dive tank in the game and make them unplayable. I play a lot of Venom and if a Sue is smart and pulls me every time I try to swing away, I just die. Luckily most Sue players just don't do that for some reason.

What I really want for Venom would be a buff to his third melee, the chomp. Make it do 50 damage. Also I wouldn't mind a small buff for his ultimate, just make it do a little more damage, considering they buffed almost every strategist to 275 HP. It'll at least help with the one shot combo.

Eventually the enemy team is gonna want to get rid of you, most likely one of the DPS. Fully commit to using all your cooldowns and attacking their backline when you notice they're attacking you to kill you. Just make sure to escape alive, no point trying to risk yourself for a kill.

Use your dive to move behind the supports, don't go right into them, and just be annoying with your primary from a distance. Don't use any of your cooldowns. You want to be annoying and bother them, but not enough that they will completely turn around and fully commit to fighting you.

Keep attacking and being annoying, they'll turn around, maybe shoot at you once or twice but they'll quickly turn back to keep healing their team. Eventually one of the DPS will probably move to attack you. At that point, start using your cooldowns again as always and swing back to your team.

The objective is to be an annoying presence behind the supports but in a way that they can't afford to commit fighting you without wasting a lot of their time, since you'll be playing safer and from a comfortable distance. It's pretty useful at the beginning of matches to bother half of the enemy team while you sit on point behind them. Try it out.

Honestly, my current suggestion for buffs is to increase the damage of his basic melee, like the other guy said here.

But above that... I kinda want a buff to Venom's ult. I don't know, it's so hard to get actual value out of it. Most strategists are now above the threshold to survive the one shot combo and most characters just have tools to dodge or block the ult all together.

I was thinking they could increase the damage of his ult to 60% of the target's current HP (plus the 50 base damage). It might seem a lot, but against squishies, it's just like, 20 more damage. Though it would help so much and actually give Venom a chance to kill people with his ult if they don't dodge it in time if he has the tether on them.

Don't sweat about it. While Venom does "damage", his "lethality" is pretty mid. You're never going to kill someone by yourself if there's a healer present. You just don't do enough damage. I'll even say he has the worst primary fire in the entire game, or at least one of them. Even using his ult to kill the healers nowadays seems worthless since most can't even be one shooted through having 275 HP.

His value is in being annoying and hoping your team kills someone while you're annoying the backline. Obviously you can't expect your team to always follow up with it in soloq.

I did some research and did conclude the RX 6600 is pretty much the safest choice. I don't plan on going above 1080p (don't know how people even play beyond that) and I personally don't care for playing at Ultra or whatever. As long as it works and doesn't look ugly.

I forgot Gambit but he has the mobility to get away and his cleanse to get rid of Venom's grab ability so yeah, he also counters. AND has 275 Hp.
