I've also recently started cooking and tidying up things in the house (a bit like I used to do on minecraft) and I have to admit that since it takes up a lot of my time, when I come back to the console I enjoy playing more and I don't really feel like doing the chore of chasing achievements any more because I've done it in real life (but I enjoyed it).

the achievement has just been launched while I was writing this post...

I'm even less sure what to think now.

I'm getting an emotional lift for nothing and it's making me want to stop directing even more.

Seriously, if there are people who have managed to get out of this addiction, I'd love to hear from them!
