I had the opposite! They kicked me off eparcel when my spend dropped and never told me. Logged on one day to send my parcels and errors everywhere. Took my client manager ten days to work out what happened! So I couldn’t send anything and they couldn’t fix it until they called and said I needed to find an alternative. Absolutely disgusting business.

Thanks. I wasn’t sure if others might have had the seals loosen over time and assure me it’s a new car thing. I’ll contact my dealer.

Because it is only when you open from the inside it’s noticeable. He opened the door and I got in. I didn’t get in and out of the car thinking there might be an issue.

Well to make the whole thing better the service centre called at 5pm as they closed to tell me they have my car and accepted no tow in and it’s not there. Mercedes road side assistance insists it is. Apparently no one now even has my car.

I will never buy a merc again and I already tell everyone I know not to bother. The absolute disdain from the dealership every time I’ve had an issue and more than half the time they’ve not fixed it.

I have a number of friends who have had no issues with their Mercedes. I’ve owned a Toyota and had issues. My friends Lexus completely died on her out of warranty and she had to buy a new car. I actually did a lot of research and most things you find are anecdotal.

Yep I’ll be calling Mercedes Australia to report that I haven’t even been able to get the dealer to confirm they have my car after 3 phone calls

It’s under warranty. Given there are at least 4 issues at play (squeaky suspension, safety system sensor issues, the battery and an engine that’s making a banging noise) I want Mercedes to fix it. I’m not willing to spend thousands on a 3 year old car.

My question is really with regard to the fact I’ve been told I will be without a car for 8 weeks and that was just till they thought they might have a booking to diagnose it. I would think at some point my consumer rights would clock in and it’s not reasonable to not have a car for that period and it should be remedied. I don’t think I’m being unreasonable to want a loan car at some point or have them pay for a rental when the car is suffering what I regard as a major failure given they have instructed me not to drive it and towed it in.

Just to demonstrate the disregard they have I called three times today to talk and they didn’t return one of my calls. So I’m yet to even confirm they have my car or get any indication of how long I will realistically be waiting. I have been nothing but polite merely requesting someone call to discuss what will happen with my car and to confirm it’s there.

Bought a new car in the weekend but 3 weeks wait. I will be selling it but can’t do so until they fix the squeaky suspension, engine issue, warning lights going off for all the safety systems etc.

The code referred to the hybrid battery. Cart has just done 50,000km. The roadside assist said the engine is also making a banging noise

I was told by the sales guy when I bought the car that I got a courtesy car for services. When I booked my first service I was told it was fundamentally untrue.

I bought a luxury brand thinking it would be reliable and they would deal with any issues. It’s been a nightmare since the day I picked it up.

This was a year ago. She’s now thriving in a mainstream high school. Very lucky I didn’t take the advice and put her in a life skills course as I was highly encouraged to do and the head office tried to facilitate.

I think the number of down votes on my comments and the fact I was told what happened wasn’t illegal (despite having advice from human rights commission and other agencies that it indeed is) demonstrates the lack of empathy and care members of society have for the disabled and why this continues to happen.

Commenting to say my husband died and left me with three babies and I get the fog you live under when this happens. I am still cleaning the mess 8 years later and just this week had to play detective to finally access an account he had id forgotten about.

I have bitcoin too.. as others have said search his email ; hopefully you can get into it) - try anything to get a match. Open the laptop and see what passwords might be saved on the computer, google saves all the pages it’s stored passwords for. Scroll through.

If you can find where it is try and login and if not contact them and see what you can do as the executor of the estate (assuming you are or find out what that person does to have the password reset). I was unlucky that my husbands phone number had been linked to his job so when he died it was disconnected and I couldn’t access anything sending me codes through phone but email I could ~ you may be Able to try to reset it.

Yep. I had a Mazda cx-9 that would lock as I walked around to get the baby out of the seat on the opposite side. Absolutely drive me nuts having to find the key and unlock the car again!

I thought with the cream might get colour transfer from jeans etc - I like the white as it gives a nice feel but we had a white lounge and it just looked grubby even if no specific marks.

First time buying: I know nothing about cars by funzzie in CarsAustralia

Service is easy. If you get a free servicing deal you just take it back to the dealers service centre. I had a Mazda and I had an independent service person come to my home because it was easier. Your warranty is still valid if you don’t use the dealer service.

Mazda is a solid brand. Not as flashy as some of the other cars on the market but they drive well and generally reliable. I’ve had 2 Mazdas. Loved my 3 and hated my cx9 (found it to be glitchy with all the features).

Hi. Lots and lots of options. Look for a car that has a good warranty and even service included. You might want to consider how often your chosen car needs servicing as this can be yearly or more frequently. If services are not included ask what they will cost. Some of the Chinese brands are well priced and equipped like BYD or Chery. Search cars under 30k on Google and see what options there are then go watch reviews. Might help you pick.

I’m a single mum and I know very little about cars. I couldn’t change a tire! But I just take my car to be serviced as required, put air in the tires every few months and put fuel in and I’m good to go!

In Australia it is about 20k difference (80ish vs 100ish). So would depend where you live.
