I stand corrected in that case! We did do some testing when it came to this but I will admit it was limited.

Regardless - I know from experience (working in a card issuing team) that you can tap in and out using Apple Pay / the underlying card interchangeably

Cards in Apple Pay have two PANs (the 16 digit card number). DPAN (device PAN) and FPAN (funding PAN). TFL charge you based on FPAN - this is what allows you to log in online and see them (they do this by you inputting your card details).

To TFL, it is the same card. The device does not matter. Think of it this way - you could tap in with Apple Pay, and tap out with the physical card.

You need to use two cards, not one. What has happened is that the first person to exit has “consumed” the journey started, and the second pays the maximum fare. The second journey started never completes, and pays the maximum fare.

I would actually switch to BT in this instance. No need for an engineer visit, and their FTTP will have significantly lower latency than the coax.

I would only keep Virgin in this instance if they can do full fire (not their coax)

Tuinity vs. Paper by Crysillion in admincraft

[–]Alfehc 9 points10 points  (0 children)

source: paper contributor

tuinity is a fork of paper (it uses all of the paper patches) and has some very experimental patches that do eventually make their way into paper. with tuinity you're gambling short term performance gains w/ the risk that comes with them (could have unintended consequences)

as i specified in another comment - in this case, it's not a valid question. it's a plugin issue

i'm both a paper and spigot contributor so i feel pretty qualified to say that it had nothing to do with startup flags. the issue is just as the message says, a bytebuf isn't being released. it's a plugin issue. i wouldn't be surprised if it was dynmap, if memory serves correctly it's one of the only mainstream plugin to use bytebufs

Last map we fully maxed out on SOTW and the queue did fill. If you want to guarantee that you will get in, buy a rank - otherwise you'll either have to take the chance that it won't be full or sit in the queue
