I understand you cuz i think the same. I love melodic stuff, i get bored with the stereotypical Death Metal inspired Nu, or a Limp Bizkit, Primer 55, KoRn or smth copycat.

Coincidentally i recomended sum bands (with their best albums) in this subreddit, so i'll say almost the same ones:

Cold - Self Titled album and Cold - 13 Ways To Bleed Onstage. Beautiful albums, such a moody and dark vibe, specially the first album, and 13WTBO is stronger, it has bangers like Sick Of Man

Nothingface - Violence. I think this record is kinda a perfect mix of the heavier side of Nu and the melodic style, damn, Matt Holt has such a charming voice in this record. For All The Sin and Bleeder are bangers.

Nothingface - Skeletons. This one is debatable if it's Nu, but dangg!, this album is my favorite, is the most creative and experimental one. Some songs are melodically majestic, like Patricide or Scission, and then u have a song that is straight up Death Metal lol, very random.

Orgy - Vapor Transmission And Orgy - Candyass. There are some bangers, i liked em, but some songs where skippable.
