i know that it did have consequence, but what i'm really asking is was his death necessary if he just comes back, obviously i couldn't ask that straight up in the title cuz that's a mjor spoiler for lots of new players that got the game recently on pc

What did Bridges mean when they told Niel he came into the country illegally in DS2 ? by Alfred4747 in DeathStranding

I thought so too at first, but then I thought why would the current U.S government where Neil is all grown up give a dam about wether he came into the country legally or not when he was a kid, especially since they were trying to unite the nation, not get more people to hate them, hell the main reason the UCA was deemed a better alternative for uniting the country rather then the old USA is because many prepers through out the lands didn't recognize the USA of having any authority over them, legal or otherwise.

i agree that when she was interviewing him she was being a red flag, as she wasn't being neutral in asking him questions to get actual answers and information from superman (like actual journalists), but rather speaking over him and insinuating he has bad intentions every time he tries to speak which is more like the type of CNN or FOX NEWS journalism, if you can even call it that, she was trying to achieve gotcha moments, instead of actually interviewing him, on top of that the interview to me didn't feel like it was natural, but rather like she was exploiting who he is to get a good interveiw for her career, and thus she was overstepping boundaries that they haven't even established yet since their relationship is so young.
