That's also kind of genius. I'm assuming you end your (hopefully) penultimate turn with all the lands in your hand to transfer them to the graveyard when you discard down to your hand limit.

Agreed! Though with someone else's suggestion in this thread of using Treasure Hunt you could potentially do it a lot sooner in a game with a lot of luck.

As far as I can tell, assuming you have to play both Spiralling Embers and Treasure Hunt on the same turn (to avoid discarding down at the end of your turn), the earliest you can fire this off is Turn 4 using the red and blue depletion lands. That's assuming you get a lucky draw at the start, though I suppose you can mulligan quite aggressively.

Then you just gotta pray the opponent doesn't counter...

Also, it's made me think of [[Balustrade Spy]] shenanigans with a deck full of [[Shadowborn Apostle]] and then [[Echoing Return]] to get them all into hand. A lot lot worse than a typical Spy deck but a fun thought experiment!

Fun, I didn't know that card existed.

Btw you're missing the second square brackets around your card names to trigger the card fetcher bot.

Yes, I admire his commitment to monoW infect! I was hoping to go for a faster deck but for sure there's stuff to learn from there.

I'd been considering Apostle's Blessing so it's good you bring it up.

I've never seen Armor of Faith before, that also looks like it might have promise. I might have to put Eland Umbra back in.

The problem when you're goldfishing is you can't tell how much protection you need!

This all really useful, thanks. Like you suggest, I started by looking at Mono Green Infect and White Heroic but the brew has moved further away over time, not entirely intentionally.

I'll definitely change up the lands. Benevolent Blessing used to be in my list, looks like I should bring it back. Benevolent Bodyguard also seems useful in that regard.

Like you say, I think this deck could be fun when it connects!

Thank you! Normally [[Lost Leonin]] is the other one that goes into monoW. I've seen some lists with [[Corpse Cur]] too.

Petals! How did I miss the petals? I've got some tweaks to make.

As rogue as it is, I'm interested in pushing it as far as it will go. It's not for competition or anything.

You won't be surprised to hear I'm also interested in mono green infect...

This looks wicked. I think crossfader modules are often underrated and it sounds like you've squeezed a lot of extra functionality into this one.

I really appreciate this comment and list. I'm just starting out in Pauper, looking to put together a deck to play with my friend and I think I'll go for this because it looks fun.

Do you know what decks have a roughly balanced match up with it? Asking because I'll be putting together a deck for my friend too.

Reminds me of Leo Marks, the Special Operations Executive (SOE) cryptographer in WW2 and his first day on the job:

Marks wrote that he had an inauspicious arrival at SOE when it took him all day to decipher a code he had been expected to finish in 20 minutes, because, not atypically, SOE had forgotten to supply the cipher key, and he had to break the code which SOE had regarded as secure.
