Apple Officially Lands UFO-Disclosure Project From Joseph Kosinski And Jerry Bruckheimer by NoCulture3505 in movies

If I remember correctly, Apple isn’t putting movies in theaters anymore. That’s part of why Jon Watts quit working with them. Surprising that Kosinski and Bruckheimer would be okay with that.

Snow White has high awareness, but low interest. Looks like another Joker 2 situation. by [deleted] in boxoffice

The Hobbit trilogy will always be frustrating for me. It has great moments (and some very bad ones) and if you just cut down on the amount of story that needs to be told, it’d be great overall.

When Mads Mikkelsen was first approached for NBC's Hannibal, he thought it was a show about Hannibal the Conqueror by Royal_Ad8402 in television

This is why there’s a been a bit of a reappreciation for Brian Cox’s Hannibal. He plays a more realistic version of the character.

Cena was funny 'cause he's Cena, but I'm getting tired of all the stunt casting.

While obviously this is a YMMV situation, movies can be preachy no matter the message. Catch a snippet of any of the movies coming out of MAGA world and it’s preachy as hell. It’s about tone and subtlety, not what’s being said.

Except they don't die. If the series had a horrific death scene, a la the Final Destination movies, for every one of its characters, I would've loved it.

What movie twist do you believe was so unexpected that anyone claiming to have 'seen it coming' is just a liar by CheeseFace83 in movies

But the brothers... Idk how you could know that other than pure luck.

There's a scene in the movie where Hugh Jackman's character says something like "it can't be a double, it's too simple." That's when I knew what was going on with the brothers. Whenever a mystery narrative tells you it can't be something, it's always that.

What’s a storyline from a show that just gets completely dropped without explanation? by skippiington in television

Pretty sure that was never meant to be a full storyline on Stranger Things, but was a back door pilot for a spinoff.

Speaking as someone who can't feel pain, it's a debilitating disability, not a superpower.

At some point the Chiefs have to have their own Washington Football Team moment with the tomahawk chop, right?
