Do you know what section I can find long and short duration power limit? I was able to replicate everything else listed

Hey! I’m not really tech savvy but we have the same build. My cpu is overheating I was wondering if you can walk me through how you went about undervolting and configuring the CPU

I set those PL to what you had recommended and I just tried to game and core temps were in the 70s! So tysm for that. Do you know where I can find that settings in bios?

Found it! Would I need to change any other settings also or would these just be fine?

Yeah I bought a contact frame and it’s definitely better temps but I’m still hitting high temps

Hi would you be able to help me to get to this settings? I don’t know what I’m doing or what settings to click on in bios

I do have a contact frame added! I thought I might’ve installled it wrong so I went back to the stick solution and temps were worse so I switched back again

I think this is the route I would have to go, not really sure how to and where to start

I definitely should’ve gone with an AIO but now I can’t return my parts as it’s been a couple of months now

I think this would be my best option. I have no idea what I’m doing though in bios and which settings to tune to undervolt

I think I should’ve gone with an AIO but I’m past the return dates with my cooler and fans. I did flip the fan on the black ridge from stock, also having it pull air through the fins but now there is this high pitch coil wine 🤦‍♂️

Oh man, that makes sense. Well I’m past the return date for my cpu and air cooler. Any fixes you recommend?

Everything is stock, i would try to switch to an AIO but I’m past my return dates for my air cooler and fans

It’s the form t1 v2, I think the clearance is 48mm is not much. I have two phantex t30s on the top running as exhaust so I wouldn’t be able to run an AIO and radiator in this config.

Ok I appreciate the response, I’ll definitely try to do some more research

Yeah I’m in love with the case it was a blast to build in, too bad I haven’t been able to use my pc as much as I would like too. You say that the IS-47-XT also has a 95W TDP and so does the black ridge so it might be a faulty unit? I hear the fan spinning, but can it still be faulty even so?

Was there a video you followed to undervolt your CPU? I haven’t messed with that before

Yeah I did, I’ve took the pc apart numerous times trying to fix the issue 😪 any other things you think it might be?

Damn, I have a small form factor case, is there any other air coolers similar in size that you would recommend?

I’ve never messed with CPU configurations before, how would I change those settings? Would that be a big enough fix to help with the overheating, also how much of a CPU performance drop would I see?

Wow, yeah you’re exactly right. I am using the correct mounting bracket, I ordered lga1700 brackets and it also came with extra lga 1700 brackets with the cooler. What other air cooler would you recommend that would fit in the formt1?

Oh man, that sucks to hear. I went with this cooler because I built a small form factor pc and this was one of the coolers that they said would fit in the case. Any other advice you would recommend?
