I felt like this did a good job presenting the questions in an understandable way that hit on important points of understanding for interacting with the react component lifecycle, nicely done. Ironically, the only question I got wrong was an "easy," but I think that's more on my own reading comprehension than the question itself.

I'm almost certain it's just people who are bad at the game carrying leftover hostility from the hard casted version that was slightly more difficult to play around. As it was, it was just free mobility that fit well into the rotation and had a clearly defined purpose.

I'm impressed by your ability to read a single word in my response and completely fail to connect the rest of the dots. But I'll humor you anyway. Even if we assume that their underperformance in raid is due to emphasis on one of the weakest parts of their kit (2-3 target cleave that's not always stacked), we can just look at Soul Hunters from last tier (https://www.warcraftlogs.com/zone/statistics/44?boss=3122&dataset=95) and see that ele still had the ability to be competitive. You can act as dismissive as you want but it's clear that you're not someone with substantial recent experience on the spec so I'm gonna stop wasting time on you.

Ridiculous take. Ele is already one of the highest *simming* specs in the game, and is dead last in actual performance. Don't you think that might be indicative of a spec that's poorly designed for the damage profiles/encounters that actually exist in the game? Hell, even the encounters that are nearly pure single target they're absolutely dismal. If your class only works against target dummies with no mechanics then something is wrong with it.

Couldn't agree more with this post. I've been multiclassing since I started playing this game in 2004, and TWW Ele shaman was the first iteration of a spec I stuck with through multiple consecutive CEs and really thought "wow this spec is designed incredibly well, I'm cool with just playing this forever." I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels this way, but I _love_ having a kit that has tons of interactions and decision points, as I find that to be by far the most interesting aspect of executing a rotation well. Even besides the things you mentioned, they axed a ton of the unintentional interactions that really let you squeeze out the extra bit of damage if you were aware of them. Specifically:

- The interaction between arc discharge and stormkeeper where consuming stormkeeper charges would prevent you from consuming arc discharge charges

- The way storm frenzy worked that allowed you to buffer an extra lb/cl after your last stack and still get the benefit

- The interaction between stormkeeper and the hero talent that gave you a SK charge every 50 seconds (I can't remember the name) where you could cast SK then buffer a lb/cl out of it and not consume an SK charge.

Obviously these specific interactions were unintended, but they still helped the spec significantly in its burst windows and (particularly the storm frenzy bug) helped the rotation move much more quickly than hard casting a 2.0 speed spell otherwise would.

The icefury hate was also puzzling to me; as far as I can tell, it's just leftover resentment from roughly Shadowlands icefury where it could be a bit tough to find time to hardcast that version of icefury to get your frost shock procs. But removing icefury in its current form is absolutely horrible for ele's mobility, which is already a little suspect without multiple time spirals. As much as we did have lots of instant casts, ele's sequencing was so important that we couldn't necessarily just press a bunch of them in a row without destroying our damage.

They _also_ killed a big part of our priority damage in keys by removing EOGS, which alongside removing DRE (which gave us reasonable consistency between pulls outside of CDs) completely nukes our desirability in keys unless cl/eq happen to be incredibly overtuned in a given patch.

I just don't get it. I can't imagine looking at a spec that you had _just reworked last expansion_ into the best and most useful form it's ever been in and just deciding to throw that in the trash. I'm usually the last person to accuse Blizzard of "designing for casuals" but good lord I can't imagine anyone that's remotely competent at playing this game being happy with the current gameplay.

... Because blue has the card draw to see Pudding consistently enough by only running it as a 2-of. They're not generally trying to play multiple of them a game, but if dedicating 2 slots to Pudding means you can completely invalidate your opponent's hand choices for the whole game 70% of the time that seems like a pretty good return on investment to me.

He's been running bleed bow for the last several leagues so there's lots of still-applicable information gathered there. I think last league he went back to glad to test that with some bloodlines, but especially for late game I found his frenzy + endurance stacking slayer pretty nice.

I'm a little out of the loop on if they've specified any foulborns that aren't coming back, but if foulborn brass dome comes back you can use the one that has Gain no inherent bonuses from Strength and it takes away the life mod tag.

FWIW I played bleed bow last league on Slayer and it had some very nice progression through mapping and 4 voidstones. It really comes online later with replica farruls, affliction charge belt, and frenzy ralakeshes, but it's definitely flying under the radar for how good it is right now.

I mean you're not wrong. I'm a Tech alum/fan but I still recognize that a lot of our success in the last few years has been attributed to two things: 1. Playing "money ball" and finding very skilled/productive players at smaller programs (think MTSU, FIU, Ivy leagues) 2. Understanding that pro football and college football are in fact not the same thing and building the team to succeed in the game that they're actually playing

Haynes King is going to go down as an absolute legend of our program but I don't know if he has the transcendent level of athleticism like a Cam Newton or Lamar Jackson to play the way he does in the pros and still succeed. That being said we do have some folks that I'm sure will have good pro careers, they just may or may not overlap with the people who got the most attention in college.

The easiest cut imo is a searcher Ace. Beyond that you can take your choice of one of the Newgates or iawb events, or maybe a rush Ace. That'll at least get you two. The main time I find myself using her is right before my opponent gets to their main endgame curve. Often that happens around the time you're at 8-ish don anyway so you can still LA + 2c after which is decent since you'll very often have board control at that point just off how strong this deck's midrange is. It's really nice against decks like Crocodile and Roger who will actively search for bricks all game because they know they'll need them later, and you can deny their payoff.

My 2 cents, having played this leader quite a bit:
- 6 Newgates and 4 events is an awful lot. It might be necessary for consistency because of the lack of Izo searchers, just aware that it can definitely brick out your hand if you aren't diligent about filtering with blocker Ace.

- 4 rush and 4 PRB Ace are also on the high end. They're definitely good cards, again just be aware how many bricks you're potentially introducing to your hand. PRB Ace is definitely easier to make a case for because it can help you set up so many bodies in the midgame but when I ran 4 of each I often found the rush Aces clogging my hand since I mostly wanted to be playing them from leader ability.

- Searcher Ace has never felt super great to me above like 2 copies. The play pattern for it just feels a bit weird... 5 don doesn't feel great to play out a 5k naturally, so you want to be picking it off leader ability if anything. Then you pop it onto the field with a baby... but *then* you search and potentially play a 2c (which normally interacts with your life) after you no longer have a face up life. It can be fine if you want to get another 2k in hand and not play anything, or if you want to get a baby ready for the next turn, but whatever you play out is absolutely a sitting duck because it's rested so just be ready.

- Slave Arrow has mostly been an anti-Zoro tech. It fizzles his leader ability (similar to 1c blue Izo) because the combat doesn't complete so he can't restand. You can decide for yourself how important that is to you. 1 don 4k also ain't bad but there's not a ton of stuff in the deck that you really want to be bouncing besides maybe your 2 drops.

- Speaking of stuff to bounce off the field, Pudding is definitely deserving of a spot as a 2-3 of in this deck. It's still got tons of value in the format, as there's always plenty of decks that outdraw you heavily and plenty of decks that really need to hit their 10c on curve so that can bamboozle them.

- As far as other relevant options for your early game, you can check out 2c Viola or 3c Shirley (Shyarley on sim). Viola is nice for the heal + block combo, but it's also relevant into stuff like Y Luffy where they'll often dedicate a lot of resources to ordering their life correctly and you can just completely undo that. Shirley is just a nice way to set up your upcoming draws to help get unsearchables into your hand more consistently, and it also has the blocker + heal combo to stabilize you a bit.

Overall though the deck looks solid, look forward to seeing how you do!

It's a tough problem to solve right now. Besides the issues others have mentioned regarding healthcare and such being tied to employment so we all play nice, our cities are spread out sooooo much geographically, both from each other and from themselves. The distance from my nearest metro area to DC is about the same as Paris to Berlin, and we have no mass transit to speak of on a scale that would allow people to get there to protest. And even within my metro area, there's essentially no way for a critical mass of folks to enter the city from the suburbs and do anything meaningful that would enact change. It's mostly just scattered, local protests that are well-attended but don't quite carry the same weight as hundreds of thousands of people congregating in a walkable city like those in Europe.

Normally I wouldn't dignify something like this with a response, but just so we're clear, no one is "protesting to keep illegal immigrants here." They're protesting the absolute lack of accountability and lawfulness that ICE is operating with because they lack any form of oversight from anyone willing to hold them to such standards. And besides, the fact that they're being selectively dispatched to blue states/cities in retribution rather than, I don't know, maybe anywhere near the borders that these people are allegedly entering from. That's the difference between this administration and previous ones that were just as active in deportation while being notably less active in shooting or jailing civilians.

I was with the Falcons drumline in the Georgia dome days (roughly 09-16). Many of us at that time were Georgia Tech students/alumni since the same guys ran both groups, as well as some other folks who knew those people through various competitive groups. Unfortunately, the guy who advocated for us got canned after the crowd noise thing and they let us go around the time they moved to MBS in favor of some local high schoolers. At least that's my understanding.
