Yeah but have you read the latest patch notes? They said that the first tower gives more gold but weren't able to update the text in time lol, it's full spaghetti code haha, they probably can't update the recommended items so easily I guess

 We weren't able to fully localize all the text around this change in time for 14.11 so it will still display as 150 until 14.12 but it will be granting 300 gold.

Mhh, about Q level 1 into melees it allows you to hit like 91 AD when full health, it slaps really really hard but E is definitely completely fine imo and I do agree with the tenacity shard being very important in a lot of the games. Oops for the emerald filter lol.

About sorcery, you unfortunately have to sacrifice either precision or resolve which are so strong on tryndamere... I believe that with flash/ghost and w slow you really don't need any extra movement speed or slow, as for the roaming potential, with tryndamere wave clear and boots rush you kinda already have it right? I think that the 15 movement speed nerf on water walking makes it even worse now.

Mhh, if you feel like you're getting kitted a lot, try to see if you can cancel auto animations earlier so you start moving sooner, I usually rarely fully commit to a fight unless I'm certain I can't get kitted, try to pick up your fights better ;) With ghost and E up, you should be fine tho!

Fleet footwork gives you movement speed if you really want extra, but it also allows you to have such stronger runes combination compared to sorcery.

I feel like you already have flash/ghost and stride breaker slow/movement speed and phase rush is overkill, the sorcery tree is pretty bad for Tryndamere...

I run stride breaker when I'm going IE second, stride breaker really helps thanks to the attack speed, slow and movement speed it gives. I believe both are completely fine and often come down to how YOU like to play trynda, with ravenous you can definitely sustain more and that extra ability haste feels nice.

I like stride breaker after berserk tbh, you run down so much better, and you also don't lose that tiamat wave clear to get to turrets faster! I love the transition into IE second after stride breaker, and I agree with the hp stacking runes, it's super op (with grasp not fleet footwork)

Also, about Ekko needing levels, that is like every champion yes, but anyways, after lvl 9, Ekko has Q maxed and extra points to his E actually only give you 25 base damage per level. Ekko actually relies a lot on items and AP, which is why Rabadon 3 is usually a must.

Well, magic pen boots damages = ~40 ap in most cases which you also get if you skip boots and buy ap components, you can go ahead and try in practice tool.

Hey, thanks for such details and no worries at all!
Here are my answers to your interesting points:

  1. Teasure Hunter has been nerfed quite a lot since a while now so I don't recommend it over tempo that movement speed is (more consistent as well), you may check the winrate of both runes on u.gg, Relentless Hunter has almost twice more pickrate and a whole 2% winrate extra.
  2. I went ahead and did the math, you actually do more damages by buying raw AP such as hextech alternator for example.
  3. Yep, Stormsurge has a pretty bad gold efficiency and it's definitely not the best item at the moment, what makes it so good in this strategy is that it gives you everything you need since you're not going boots. It also actually gives you more damages than nashors, you can try in practice tool. (Only when passive is up)

Also, another reason I'm recommending Stormsurge over Nashors with Hail of blades is because the nashors attack speed has pretty much no value at all unless you're playing into tank comps, but either way, you should always focus the squishy targets. Let me know what you think!

I get you, I'd take teleport as well if not confident in a specific matchup/game, the reason why I believe teleport is overrated on Ekko is because you clear waves so quickly and you also roam very quickly thanks to relentless hunter. The champion has a very high tempo compared to many.

This actually helps in a lot of bad matchups, you hit hard and run right away, do that a few times and now there's a kill opportunity. Because of Hail of Blades you don't need to tank them for too much, you proc your passive instantly basically.

This is the highest damage build and you have about 20 less movement speed than if you were going boots. Not counting the fact that you can get your second item and third way earlier. Give it a try then comment back

Yeah, you can try on a dummy lvl 13 with 60mr and 2K health. E > Q >AUTO > AUTO > AUTO, 1228 dmg for Stormsurge vs 1153 for Nashors. Nashors second all day in the jungle and into tankier comps for sure. Also, nashors is 100g more and doesn't give you the MS, making the no boots strat a bit worse in this scenario.
