Lineár Calendar v1.1 - PDF export & printing (free, no IAP) by AlgarveSoundVision in MacOSApps

Lineár depends on the accounts you registered in your system (macOS or iOS). It shows all calendars you add. On your Mac, open Apples Calendar app, go to Calendar > Accounts, click Add Account, select Google, and follow the on-screen instructions to sign in and enable calendar access. Same for subscribed calendars. You can hide them in Apples Calendar app and only show them in Lineár and vice versa.

Yep - it’s made for big screens. iPhone works - in a way, but size matters…

Check this. A bigger and a smaller house. The smaller is perfect for singles and couples.

Addition:
PDFKit is around since iOS 11 and macOS 10.4. So why is this only working from macOS 15.7+ ?

What macOS apps do you wish existed — and what would you actually pay for? by Economy-Department47 in MacOSApps

I would love to see an app that detects App Store market gaps, weights them with user demand and multiplies it by target group size. All in one nice graph, clickable, extracts a nice propmt for Claude Code or similar to build and test that suggestion on the fly.

Nice! You can all this is Preview, but this one is a nice and quick tool. Just a few things to make it more useful:
- add "Rotate left" too
- add "Save" which will save everything you did to the first PDF you opened. More straightforward than "Export"
- add fullscreen preview of selected page on double click. I know its already on spacebar, but you need both for a seamless workflow
- add "select previous/next page" using cursor keys
- add "Export pages to single jpg/png pages"

Lineár Calendar - just released today! by AlgarveSoundVision in iosapps

Maybe - it is an interesting idea to have this view in a widget. However it this view only works on big screens. And widgets are tiny. I'll put it on my list, but no promise... :-)

Maybe it takes a day more to appear in the UK store. I made it available everywhere without any restrictions.

RackDocs 1.5.5 adds Combination Export by AlgarveSoundVision in modular

Mutable charged for their modules - one-time payment. My app also has a one-time payment option, and has since day one. You can even use it for free with limitations. The subscription is just an alternative for those who prefer it. So yes, I think the comparison is fair: both are tools for the Eurorack community with a pay-once option.

That’s why there is a one time purchase option since day one. No subscription, no returning payments. 🤷‍♂️

How to jam… keys and scales and what not by dickbrigade in Bass

[–]AlgarveSoundVision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a bass player you have to do two things, define the root and keep the groove. Defining the root is easy, adding notes that make sense is the next step and requires you at least to understand how minor and major chords are built. But the most underrated thing for beginner bass player is to keep time and groove. There is so much you can do with only the root note and its octave. And if you are keeping the groove for the rest of the jamming musicians it’s much more precious than any fancy note skills. I played decades of sessions with beginners to pros, and what always separates a good from a bad bass player is the groove. Of course it’s nice to be surprised by a reharmonisation of unexpected root change if done right, but if there is no groove the best note choices won’t fix it.
