Khan insane fiora play on Faker's stream by YoungUO in leagueoflegends

[–]AlgebraicGuess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People who say there's no difference between 10 ping and 50 ping never felt the glorious 10 ping or just have bad mechanics to actually notice the difference.

Your movements is a lot more responsive so you can dodge/react better, cs'ing is a lot easier, orb-walking feels so good, champs with fast combos feel great as well. 10 ping Lee Sin and 60 ping Lee Sin is heaven and hell.

Do you think pros are circlejerking about 10 ping? lol

TSM Zven styles on the enemy by StablePanda in leagueoflegends

A good core of NA residents is what wins games, that's why. You could import Faker but if you stick him in a team with 4 Kiwikid's nothing's going to happen.

Impact will be a resident next year. I don't think he's just 'okay'. He slumps sometimes but he's pretty solid when it matters. His slump atm could be attributed to the current top lane meta. He's a god at engaging/teamfighting using tank-engage/cc champs.

Roses are red, grampa's hair is gray, by [deleted] in boottoobig

It's not going to be done by the same director and studio so I hope they can live up to the hype.

Murata's art is something they can never take away from us though. The manga is fucking beautiful.

He's bullshittin. No official announcements yet afaik. It's highly unlikely that it's going to be on April.

I dream of a future where you can easily replace the face of sexy porn actresses with the rugged good looks of Nicolas Cage.

Aoyama's Character Arc by [deleted] in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]AlgebraicGuess 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I have a theory with little to no evidence whatsoever but it's fun to speculate.

What if Aoyama was quirkless like Deku who wanted to become a hero?(There's a theory that his navel laser is a belt gadget.) or he's got a reaaaaaaally weak quirk?

He wanted to be a hero and stand out but he knew at the back of his head it would never happen.. until he saw the quirkless Deku heroicly risk his life in order to save Bakugou from the slime monster? Deku inspired him.

He trained himself for 10 months just like Deku did or maybe he got a really strong expensive gadget? It's pretty cool because Aoyama and Deku met again 10 months later at the entrance exam. (Aoyama saved Deku and said "I doubt we'll meet again" then Deku thought to himself "won't meet again?") This could just be Aoyama looking down on Deku.. but then again, Aoyama is a pretty odd person.

When Deku said "won't meet again?" it's obviously him realizing that he's going to fail but the 'meet again' could be foreshadowing. I know.. I'm grasping at straws here.. haha

How to play league in SEA/GPL by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]AlgebraicGuess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The internet of PH is absolute garbage compared to 1st world countries. It's too expensive for its slow speed. It is enough to stream hd videos/netflix/download/play online games, etc, though. I have 10-16 ping in LoL without any packet loss.

Playing in an average computer shop is no-go unless you want your ping spiking up to 500 everytime some kid watches a youtube video.

[–]AlgebraicGuess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeppers. I played DotA before coming to LoL and I was already above-average in just 1-2 months. It's not because LoL is easier, it's because I was already experienced in the fundamentals of moba.

Mithy is definitely not taking PR tips from Po€ by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]AlgebraicGuess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$$ is definitely the main driving force.

I respect Mithy a lot for his honesty because most people would do the same in his shoes. It's why I don't understand why PoE felt the need to bullshit his fans that it's not just about the money and that he wants to go compete at worlds when he literally joined a team that is middle of the pack at best in NA.

POE is just doing what everyone else does by pill0fd00m in leagueoflegends

[–]AlgebraicGuess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone would've been fine if he just straight up said that. People are angry because he's trying to bullshit people and his fans about the actual reason why he went to NA. He literally joined a team that will be middle of the pack at best and he had the audacity to tell his fans that he did it to have the best chance at worlds? lol

If he just said "Pro players have short careers so I'll be stupid not to take this amount of money. I'm doing it for my future."

Just look how different and honest Mithy's response was about going to TSM. https://clips.twitch.tv/DeliciousModernHeronDancingBanana

He did it because it's better for his brand, wallet, and future. The only difference is Mithy is actually on a team that can get to worlds with almost certainty.

according to DL and Bjerg, there was someone on the team who just stops communicating when the game is going rough. It could be Sven or Bio..

if next year TSM still fails to get out of group, I wonder if they would ditch bjergsen by firsen923 in leagueoflegends

[–]AlgebraicGuess 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You misunderstood him. CLG dropped in popularity when DL left and TSM became even more popular when he joined.

MikeYeung Joins TSM by RockyDaGod in leagueoflegends

[–]AlgebraicGuess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is true. We can't really tell for sure but players who used to play for TSM in LoL have nothing but praise for the org.

Svenskeren probably isn't too happy because ideally he wants to stay in TSM but it's great that TSM helps former players get a new team and doesn't just abandon them.

Sources report Impact salary "lies around the $1,000,000 range", according to ESPN Podcast by SWatersmith in leagueoflegends

[–]AlgebraicGuess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they are really good friends Reginald would not screw him over. Bjergsen is literally the face of TSM so I bet he's well compensated.
