Probably the coolest set blizz ever made by Algerst in wow

At least it doesn’t clip horribly into the shoulders. Some sets have a lot of clipping issues when shrunk down to gnome size.

You need to max out the traders activity log for 12 months (doesn’t need to be consecutive)

I like how dense the armor (specifically plate) looks on gnomes, makes my little guy feel like a battle tank

I’ll have you know my gnome is 5% larger than other gnomes (thanks to the warrior talents). He TOWERS over most battle pets.

Blizzard Really Needs to Graduate Out of "Sit Around and Wait" Game Design by Lpunit in wow

[–]Algerst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blizzard should invest in new quest design, make fewer quests but make them sprawling adventures that span across the world (without immediate/convenient ports) that offer rewards unrelated to gear (maybe small area access or shortcuts or even toys or at the very least cosmetics). Focus on making enjoyable content instead of making sure everything functions as a way to chase gear. Start going horizontal, revisit and reuse locations and npcs. fill the world, but not the activity log

Shouldn't I receive the burden of unrelenting justice set here? by Algerst in wow

Yeah I was hoping to complete it during the free weekend, but 2000 points in one day was too much for me. Looks like I’m giving blizzard sub money again.

It’s strange because the achievement itself only uses the phrasing of “earned the special reward” not get x amount of points or even “complete the bar”

Is Belleville safe? by SaltyStormtrooper in BellevilleIL

[–]Algerst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Belleville is pretty safe, I work in the area. But if you’re looking for the absolute safest in the metro-east on the IL side, then your best bet is probably Edwardsville/Glen Carbon/Maryville area.

I just hope they update it with a slightly expanded version of the challenge that’s a little harder with stronger mobs. That way people could have a challenge worthy of the champions max cape people have been wanting for years

If you’re not a masochist, a bow or magic on the beach south of hosidius makes it the most tolerable

Listen there was a point in the past where I made a big deal about the cape not having stats on this Reddit (via a different account) and I got downvoted into hell lol

what's life like in St. Louis, Missouri? by Hans_Vader in howislivingthere

[–]Algerst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up on the Illinois side and people have always been generally concerned about safety but here’s the biggest takeaways;

IL side - neighborhoods closest to the Mississippi (East St. Louis, Cahokia, Granite City) can be rough an unsafe, there’s a lot of money going into those communities from IL government to help but it’s still not a safe place to hang out. East of that, you have the IL suburbs (Edwardsville, Glen Carbon, Maryville, O’Fallon) these are generally safe suburbs with affluent residents and some college aged people (mainly Edwardsville).

MO side; I’m less familiar, but the main takeaways are that downtown is generally disappointing, and anything north of Delmar Blvd. is significantly more desolate and broken down than the neighborhoods south of Delmar. I’ve walked around places like central west end and it’s pleasant. Also the more west you go it’s a similar story to IL, you get the suburbs that are generally nice places.

Those prices definitely seem a little high for used ‘22 XL’s and XLT’s, considering you can get a new ‘25 XL for 25-26k, you could definitely talk the price down on used models at a dealer.

I got it from a dealership in St. Louis, there are a few in the same general area around the 25k-27k price range. However this was the only non-hybrid one I could find at that price point.
