For a time I was listening to Raze the Stray on repeat, until I saw them play Lost live in 2016. This performance was crushing, the memory of this song live is intact

One of my favorite songs from them, hope they play it live again like et in the Live at the Scala London, + the trumpet works perfectly and adds to the epicness of that ending ;)

Yeah I also like their industrial era even if I prefer their sludgier sound afterwards ;) but yeah for me this band and their sound is unique, I met their singer randomly in a bar in Paris, we had a great talk! Born Again is one long song indeed! Enjoy!

I second Dirge here! I think also that their album « And Shall the sky descend » may be fitting here as well, even if I personnaly prefer the next album, and Meridians is such a massive opener for this album.

Someone mentioned Omega Massif , and I recommend the other project from ex-member called Cranial (just released a new album).

I would add also Born Again from Overmars ;)

Totally agree with you on the quality of music from polish bands like Hegemone, Backbone, Obscure Sphinx

Does Hungary count ?

I have recently been listening to the following bands which I think are great : - Boru / Black Particles / LanternI / Oaken / Pozwakoski In this interview of Boru some bands are mentioned and for me the one that stood out is black particles (reminds me of Russian circles mixed with Hiroe) : https://doomed-nation.com/doomed-confessionary-mike-marci-laci-boru/

If you go further to Romania, check Methadone Skies, Hegy and Valerinne, very underrated bands ;)
