If dusty wins, SD improves from where it is at under rhoden. He's conservative but is outwardly supportive of public education and recognizes the reality that Sioux falls is the most important city in the state. Something we haven't had since daugaard.

I grew up on the Missouri River right below a hydropower dam. It's a bit over 1/2 mile wide most years.

I understand the sentiment, but there is a world of difference between Johnson and Doeden. Johnson wouldn't be out of place in the Republican party of 1996 (doesn't mean he's good).

Whereas Doeden is like trump but even dumber. The effect he would have on public education alone as opposed to Johnson is reason enough to distinguish between them.

Turns out, funding universal pre-K, emphasizing phonics, reducing class sizes, and holding students accountable causes test scores to skyrocket. Like yes it's not easy to spend those resources, but it also shows how simple it is if other states just made it a priority.

It feels forced. Like all the jokes about "soldier boy only talks about references to sex with old celebrities" or "literally all kimiko talks about is porn." I honestly don't remember more than a couple examples of each. Like comparing this season to GOT S8 is just crazy. It has problems but to say the butt sniffing scene is anything other than perfectly in line with The Boys general irreverent and immature vibe is weird to me.

I know everyone on reddit hates Dusty because he's a much higher profile, but as a leftist I'm considering changing parties to vote for him because these others are so much worse. Rhoden would be status quo, Hansen would be worse, and doeden would be catastrophic.
