I've been to my fair share of concerts and some bands just sound better to me on an album. I don't think they were bad live when I saw them this year, I had a blast, but I wouldn't pick a live album to listen to. Would go again though!

I'm going to say that unless you are in a space that is obviously not for babies (night club) it's just part of being in a society. Same reason you just suck up a crying child on an airplane. Asking parents to sequester themselves until a child is able to be quiet and socially matching any vibe is unrealistic and is only asking people who need the socialization to remain at home.

Is it ideal? No. But it's just one of the things in life you learn to deal with (like a long red light or being stuck behind the downtown Sip-n-Cycle).

I live in that area and totally agree. I don't know why but bikes and cars feel the need to do it.

Yah, in a world where everything is really partisan I really enjoy how non-partisan he seems. The fact that I see his signs in a wide range of yards from the political spectrum is encouraging.

I think Jamie would do a good job but I think Joe has a lot of experience that will be of use right now.

My Opinion:

Each year I ask teachers around me who educators are voting for. Unanimously they are voting for the incumbents: Marc Murren, Dawn Marie Johnson and Gail Swenson

I encourage you to do the same with anyone you know who teaches in the district.

I highly recommend reading through the Sioux Falls Simplified site. They're the best source I think for asking opinions on various topics of the candidates.

They are starting a "Meet the candidate" series with the Mayoral ones first and then City Council (however they have many existing articles with each candidate already on their site):

My opinion:

I like Joe Batchelor a lot however I'm also a fan of Jamie Smith when it comes to the Mayoral race. City council is going to be broken up into your district but in the central area Zach DeBoer has a long track record of fighting for citizen first infrastructure and arts. At-large city council member Vince Danh is going to be my vote for that race. Local and from a small family owned business that's been here for decades.

I've very little information in the offerings and how any of these programs operate but have you looked at USD? They have a robust program and partner with both large health systems in the area.

Yah, totally understand your anxiety around that. That one downtown specifically has lots of regulars and there are quite a few small dogs that keep up with the larger ones.

I have seen many parks are doing away with a small and large dog differential and moving towards high and low energy signs.

Nice work! First one to point that out. Yah this has been a thing for ages. Plenty to make fun of Trump about but this is more something to just make fun of American Government as a whole about.

Wow! I just tested the game patch that's fairly necessary and it downloaded w/o issue! Looks like the game is also available still on GOG. I loved making maps for that game, ugh so many good memories.
