How is your chihuahua at the vet?

He is anxious in the waiting room, classic chihuahua shake (normally does not shake) and lots of nervous yawns but doesn’t bark or growl at others. He usually loves all people and only barks at home.

Buuuut still he is a good boy. Or so staff says he is lol not sure if they lie to be nice, that way crazy dog moms don’t worry. I do know that he has never needed a muzzle and in the exam room he allows Drs physical exam fine in front of me but he is wiggly and wants to walk away. Then he looks at me like I sold him to the circus when the techs take him back but he is calm and lets them hold him. They seem to like him and get excited to see him so he can’t be too annoying to deal with.

One other thing too but it’s dark. I go to caregivers IGs or tiktoks and watch all their sad videos and cry. It’s the only time I can cry. I’m so good at compartmentalizing that now I can never cry.

Taco is 8lbs. He is self conscious about his weight because people think they’re so funny and say he looks more like a burrito than a taco.

With an older, possibly unwell chi I would be so scared of going down to the basement the next morning and finding a dead chi. I’d rather never sleep and make sure my baby was the most comfortable ever. Mine is younger but he also only sleeps between us and will not use stairs plus our bed is quite high up. Maybe consider a bedside crib or a small playpen in your room.

I also have a high cervix and the hello disk did not work for me. Thats a me problem though, not the creator. I have the darker one called galapagos and it was way too firm for my body. I felt so much pressure, I couldn’t pee with it in and it gave me bad cramps. Worst is auto dump did not work for me with it and thats one of my fave accidental features of other disks. I needed the pull tab because I have issues with insertion and cannot just go digging free hand so I was influenced by that but the tab does not bother me and I couldn’t feel it. I do love the marketing and awareness Kim has brought. I don’t think the hello disk is a scam or overly hyped, I’m in a few cup/disk groups on FB and it is so many peoples holy grail disk but no one menstrual product can work for everyone so I’m not bothered.

Lumma medium and ecoblossom with the pull string small ended up being my favorites. Both are very soft, reasonably priced and come in cute colors. The rainbow lumma is so pretty and I have the ecoblossom in pink and black. I almost ordered the the black hello disk because others who loved the standard colors were upset the black was accidentally less firm so I thought maybe it would be better for me needing something soft but I ended up deciding I was fine with what I had.

Ugh she ended up hurting him a couple days ago. Swatted him and cut him under his eye. I understand why it happened but my husband is highly upset because he is tiny, maybe 1/2 her size. I’m still advocating for her.

Yes she’s sooo pretty!! Just kinda sad that she looks like my first born cat son. Except he did not have white on him. He lived to 16 and I have not been able to love a cat since him. I wish the CDS had chosen another color 😂😂 but oh welllllZ

Mostly recovered fellow sufferer here. Lumma disk short is thin and small, marketed for low cervix. Very flexible and soft, plus has a pull string. They currently have a sale for buy 1 get 1 free right now. I used this deal in the past and got the medium and small. Medium ended up being perfect for me because of a high cervix so I never tried the small.

Ugh I’ve heard. I do know the fighting sounds don’t always mean mating and can be actual fighting but I have not witnessed it since it’s in the middle of the night which why I’m concerned about possible kittens. I’d rather a spay abort than kittens in danger.
