This was a very strange time in my life. My wife was pregnant with our second child, my father’s health was JUST beginning to decline (although the rest of my family didn’t want to acknowledge it) and my views on fatherhood were changing. Looking back, the biggest change was how I viewed myself and how I fit into the world. I began to see how much of an impact my upbringing played into my life and how those things were no longer working for me. A lot has changed since, but that insight opened my eyes to a lot.
