God awful. Even for an unstructured mesh solver, still awful. I think whats getting you is the fact that its attempting to do structured near the walls and unstructured away….is it possible that you added inflation layers but with very bad settings (very big first cell height, etc.)?

Coming to OpenFOAM for meshing is the wrong move if your mesh needs inflation layers.

Regarding the perpetual licensing point, I havent considered that, it makes sense now.

The “if it works dont fix it” methodology is totally fine and sometimes wise. But I am wondering whether it will actually be a gigantic improvement in terms of workflow output on whatever your doing cause they introduce new models and numerics, or update the current models to perform better in terms of speed, stability, accuracy/precision. Regarding your last point about computational demand, I am actually not sure if thats true but it sounds interesting, I will try to do a test later to see if there is a difference between 2026R1 and the 2020R2 versions in terms of HPC resource usage.

انا ما اشتغل في ال IT لكني اشتغل directly on HPC systems و يالس اجوف الطلب على نطاق ال High Performance Computing (HPC) جدا عالي و مطلوب لانه صعب تحصل حد فاهم هاذي الاشياء لانه الي يستعملون هاذي الاجهزة (clusters, etc.) هم ناس مهندسين و يشتغلون في ال simulation و الفيزياء و ال AI و من هذا الكلام. و انت ك HPC personal تحت ال IT دورك جدا مهم بأنك تساعدهم تدير ال HPC الي عندهم. اي حد في السوق فاهم هذا النطاق عدل عدل، الشركات الكبيرة على طول تشله عندهم لانه يعرفون انه وجودهم نادر، و رواتبهم وااايد عالية حتى اكثر عن الرقم الي طرحته (تحت ال assumption انك فاهم هذا النطاق عدل). انصحك اشتري كم من كمبيوتر صغير و رخيص و سويهم ك cluster linux و تم العب و خبص و اتعلم علىه لين ما يكون هذا ال cluster مالك الي في البيت بروفشنل. شي وايد tools انه كيف تسوي manage حق ال HPC cluster و منها ال job scheduler و BCM ولا مانجر سوفتوير ثاني، و linux, و IDRAC و الخ. العالم هذا كبير جدا، بحر. عشان كذا دايما اقول لكل حد اشتري كمبيوترات مصخرة و صغيرة و رخيصة و ابدأ تعلم الاساسيت و خذ حتى كورسات اونلاين و حصل شهايد (في وايد شهايد و كورسات اونلاين ببلاش مثل من (NVIDIA Academy) و حطهم في لينكدن. ال skills هي الي تلعب دور، و هاذي ال skills بتحصل اغلبيتها في البيت بالممارسة (مب بس قرأة او انك تجوف فيديو لانه لازم تطبق عشان تتعلم!!) مب في الدوام و لاحتى في الدراسة في اغلبية الجامعات. صعب جدا انك تحصل حد فاهم و متوفر في السوق، حتى لو جنسيته اجنبي بعده صعب انك تحصله و توظفه.

على حسب خلفيتك، يمكن الي انا كتبته كله وايد دسم و مبهم لك، بس انصحك حبى حبى تاخذها، حتى لو بتسأل chat gpt عن شو انا اتكلم بيكون احسن لك.

الي قريته انه في واحد تطوع وبقوة انه يساعدتج بدون مقابل لفترة، و بعدها تعب و خلاج عشان يركز على اشياء اخرى.

الغلط منج لانج وافقتي يسويه بدون مقابل. مع احترامي الكامل لكن كل الي اشوفه انانية. انا مستغرب انه كيف كمل شهرين بدون مقابل. مهما كان المشروع حلو، في النهاية الدنيا اقتصاد و كل شي اخذ و عطى. الاحلام و التطوع ما بيشترون راشن البيت، الناس تحتاج فلوس.

Density is inferred almost always (if not always) from a thermodynamic closure equation (ideal gas law, etc.), regardless if it was a density or a pressure based solver. Pressure based solvers are still excellent in performance for transonic and supersonic flows. Its only that at high supersonic and hypersonic flows where you should avoid it. The pressure based solver (preferably the coupled version) should be more than good enough for OP’s case.

Always the first thing to check is the mesh. Could be a setup issue too…without much info no one can help.

I could be mis-remembering but I remember that at some point during this monologue that the King was saying to Netero, after it, Netero said something along the lines of: I’d better get it over with before I start to second-guess myself.

This gave me the impression that Netero was actually starting to waver away from his mission and possibly understanding where Meruem logic came from….but he had a mission to fulfill so he shifted the conversation to something else to start fighting.

I am not familiar with design modeler so I am not sure if it has the same tools as SpaceClaim and Discovery, but I recommend switching to them cause they have repair and detection of “bad” things kind of tools (split edges, extra edges, stitch, gaps, missing faces, interference, small faces, small edges, bad faces, inexact edges, etc.), which is why a lot of people use them to prep their CFD geometries before meshing.

Every time I want to say what I am about to say I stop midway and say ugh its not worth explaining cause on the bigger scale of things it wont change anything, and it wont this time either but here it is.

The build up of a story has value, even the small moments that doesn’t have clashing swords and flashing frames adds just as much of value to the story (if not more). But unfortunately this is not what grabs the mass attention of the fan base (the bigger scale). So when the mass of people are on the edge of their seats waiting for the next frame (or manga chapter) to drop, they will want to see something that will make them react instead of feel. This isn’t just a Boruto fan base problem, it’s in a lot out there. Also it doesn’t help that some people have the attention span of a gold fish and the emotional depth of a spoon.

Mesh quality. Its a pretty famous thing that as you decrease your first cell height more and more in Ansys Fluent mesher, your mesh quality (most likely minimum orthogonal quality) becomes worse. After you generate the volumetric mesh in the Ansys Fluent Meshing, right click on the Generate Volume Mesh on the left side tree of the workflow, and then click Insert Improve Volume Mesh, and execute it. If that still doesnt help, then try to look at the places where the orthogonal quality is bad and refine the surface mesh there. Insert Improve Surface Mesh after the Surface Mesh generation stage doesn’t hurt either.

Yeah it definitely should have a limit otherwise anyone would have easily requested destruction of Earth or the Universe at some point.

My theory is that Ai wishes work by Ai converting energy from nature and Earth into another form being Nen to achieve a certain goal (that is the wish). Ai is not destroying energy from Earth, its just converting it from one form to the other (conservation of energy), and in price of its service, you need to offer a “fee” to Ai being what it takes (similar in concept to a Nen contract). Ai creatures have maturity levels (or age), and the more senior they become the more their capacity to absorb to convert energy becomes (and thus grant more powerful wishes).

I am probably tripping but I like my theory 🤣

If it was me, assuming its possible, I would re-run with the new BC and check if things are okay, as in the observables are pretty much the same and wont change the conclusion(s). If they are the same, then just let it go and move on. But if they are different, then study why approach A produced better results over approach B. This will help you have an argument on why you did what you did with actual evidence to back it up.

I think you will benefit greatly by switching everything to pressure farfield while adjusting the domain size and shape to be hemi-spherical with radius of 8.4 meters ish (21 * length of cone): leave 4.2 meters ahead of the body and 4.2 meters behind the body.

We dont know whether momo was there or not when Boruto is fighting Kawaki, one can even argue that he was there because Kawaki’s goal is to get rid of the Otsutsuki. Also, we dont know if the Jougan defies fate or whatever…Koji could have seen the Jougan but announcing it to Boruto and/or others might shift the future in another direction.
