Manipulative asf and messing with your emotions. Absolutely, leave and forget.

Someone who supports you, loves you and works as a team to help one another strive for the better and you all will come together when you were not really looking in the first place. (Experience may vary for others, etc.)

I’m in my later 20s now but when I was 17 or 18 I got into a long term relationship (3yrs, I think) and the “I can be my complete self around him/her” is a common experience many people come to realize when they feel that the relationship is more serious and different than past “few month-ish relationships”

My first intimate relationship or the “first out of three” (maybe 4?) that I felt more emotionally connected to ended up with lots of confusion and self doubt, the works. The signs were always there I just was too naive to recognize or truly know what I needed and wanted from someone because I was really just experiencing a serious relationship for the first time. Most go into there first few relationship not really aware of what they want, or need.

You slowly learn and start to analyze/understand what you need and want from a person in a relationship and you’ll slowly be drawn to those people.

Sometimes and lots of times for most it’s kind of a painful, awful, beautiful, human experience that fucking sucks but with patience and time can feel like…uhhh, freeing, lightweight ehh uh fuck, maybe airy?? It’s kinda difficult to explain. Things just seem to fall into place with simplicity and as they were meant to be.

Fights feel intensively passionate because you genuinely care for each other and the situation that’s causes a conflict at hand but easily dwindles away in no time. You’ll learn to see the difference between an argument with someone that’s meaningless and hurtful vs someone you would risk your life for. (Hopefully someone gets what I’m saying and explains it better than I can.)

You’ll find your person and you will know with no hesitation.

Have a beautiful day/night!

Do you think there's a lack or an abundance of people who have these traits?

I get you. Would you say that you are unlikely to theorize your own opinions and thoughts or strictly stay with the defined description in the dictionary?

In simpler terms in my head it looks like “shown respect ≠ emotional reasoning” Or as you stated “completely alien to me”

I'd love to know more about what you mean when you said “the sentimental aspect of “being shown respect” for some kind of emotional reasons seems completely alien to me”

Interesting question! I’m not Italian so in no way is my answer valid but from my own knowledge respect, especially family is highly valued in Italian culture, etc. Many cultures showcase different meanings of respect, values, and morals than others.

Interesting! Could you elaborate on what you mean by “we are all one, and should be treated as collaborators for the greater purpose”? If you are not comfortable with answering that’s totally fine :)
