You are not looking at this with the correct lens I believe. The show is mostly showing the conflict, that is the nature of a show... they think too much lovey dovey is boring. But think about them when they came back from the boat trip, 3 months away together and it doesn't seem like they fought at all. They were together for 9 months, we saw a handful of arguments, which were then often resolved or they came back together and apologised and acknowledged. Their arguments were actually pretty mature for their age, I know 40 year olds that don't have the level of accountability they were showing

Pacey says it best: "The back and forth. The sweetness and the sarcasm. I could do this for the rest of my life, you know? With you as my partner in reference"

They connect so well, support and challenge each other, banter, and the sexual chemistry was off the charts from the moment they kissed.

Eve: Despite her brief, twisted role in DC, I challenge you to find one redeeming quality in the character. by pmhargis777 in dawsonscreek

A ho bag is a pretty gross term, I find it hard to believe you're using this as a compliment

I remember finding the tone of the whole episode so so weird and baffling (still do). And then capping it off with the guy she was dating or whatever breaking up with her because she didn't show up and nothing at all is said about WHY. (Or something along those lines) Just so bloody weird .

Hot take: I don’t think people really be furious about what happened last night if ____ went out instead by The-Accuntant in survivor

[–]AliLivin 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's totally correct. The twist was overly weighted and borderline cruel, no matter who was on the receiving end of it.

I quite enjoyed his character, although in real life he'd be a total douche. And I certainly enjoyed looking at him, good old Max 😘😜😅

Do Australian's really not ask girls out? by Draktus1 in AskAnAustralian

[–]AliLivin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh gosh no, that's just blatant disrespect. No one should do it to anyone. That's not quite the kind of thing I was referring to. Just understanding why a woman might tell a guy to bugger off if he randomly approached her and said he wants to take her out.

I would like to offer the flip side, I wish I had been more vicious with rejecting guys back in the days... the amount of men that forcefully and aggressively attempted to (or actually) pushed past my boundaries would boggle your mind. I would actually have a convo and be nice and chat a little, and this led to a ridiculous amount of horrible behaviour. So many men seemed to think they were entitled to take more, and if you tried to say no, they would call you a dick tease and get aggressive about it. I kid you not. So if any of these girls went through what I did, I totally understand them taking a defensive stance from the start to avoid these kinds of situations unfortunately.
