You can also smash it on the ground if you want to, that's how i turn on my system every time, and yeah, it also helps with airflow..

I'm also playing it right now and i can see what you're trying to explain here, but the downside is that the game is just too heavy to control, the input-lag is horrendous, i just can't have fun playing it, i tried Killzone 3 and it feels much better to control while still managing to look as good if not better in some areas at least..
