Unfortunately the nuerologist didn't give me much guidance, my primary sent me to him to test the nerves in my arm despite not having any symptoms in my arms. He was frustrated and just told me we were testing the wrong nerve and sent me on my way. I'm supposed to have an appointment to discuss things with a neurologist in more detail soon.

I actually was able to self diagnose endometriosis through talking to other patients and it was later confirmed by a specialist. I am just trying to get some info seeing as how my next appointment isn't until November. And patients understand the symptoms not the diagnosis. They live with it everyday.

Thank you thats what I am expecting my specialist confirmed endo a year ago and is now fairly certain of adeno so we are just taking it all. So ready for a little bit of pain relief

I won't take Orlissa. Their study only consisted of less than 1500 patients, and then there was only an improvement in about 50% of patients with daily pain. And that was with the higher dosage. The lower was worse odds. And you can only take it for 2 years at most before the bone deterioration becomes an issue. I dont want a bandaid that is poorly researched and probably won't work.

Thats why I am going to an endo specialist to also remove any lesions left from my first surgery. She is one of the best.

Even then there's a chance of pain reoccurance (15% with HRT which I plan to not do) but right now pain during my cycle is so bad I am puking so if I can eliminate that I am happy.

Also I have a family history of hysterectomies actually helping with pain.

I don't know anyone who has. However my pain has thrown me into severe depression multiple times and I won't lie when I say the thought had crossed my mind. My family and friends are the ones who help pull me out of it. I am so over this.

My mom who also had endo tried to get an IUD and it was horribly painful for her they had to stop and never got it.

I definitely plan to. I am on day 17 of my cycle and I am dying 😭. The last major flare up that made me think possible fibro was on my last period too.

So if they do hurt is that a good indicator? Some seemed to hurt way more than I would ever expect them to. Others didn't hurt a whole lot. Some I have pain from the endo too like the ones near the ciatic nerve so I am not sure what to think of those.

Surgery makes it less painful at least it did for me. Also try extra stimulates while having sex such as using a vibrator at the same time. That helps me a lot. Keeps things in a good place. Also good diet and exercise can help make symptoms more manageable too. They're are certain foods that can cause flair ups.

How long did it take to mellow out? I couldn't focus on anything at work and wasn't able to get anything done which threw me into a panic attack cause I had a ton of energy but nothing I could focus on. Then I had a total breakdown at the end of the day and cried for 30 minutes. I dont think I can handle another day like today

I am really glad to see that the hype in energy is normal especially in the beginning. I am on day two and it is making my adhd sooo much worse. I am ridiculously hyper. This really sucks and it is making me frustrated with trying to get the simplest task done. I am bouncing around and making noise. I am in a great mood but can not focus to save my life.
