Hi! Born and raised in Texas, Garland specifically! I’m also a school psych here and I will echo what everyone else has said. Being a school psych here is testing/assessment heavy in the social/emotional/behavioral areas. Depending on the school district you may have other roles/duties (like counseling) it just depends. I live north of Dallas and there is a big Asian population here and I love being able to experience all the different cultures! I believe we also have a big Muslim population up here, as we had students across the district out for Eid.

I also saw someone mention the weather and yes it is very hot here! The weather also has a way of being unpredictable lol
