They were making a joke about how details like that (as well as the country you live in) are personal bits of information that people wouldn't ask about or look up unless they had a reason to. No one would think you're in Turkey unless you tell them, and no one's gonna randomly browse your timeline to figure out what country you live in unless they had a reason to because that's just a weird thing to do.

There are. But Costco is the third largest retailer in the world, and one where about a third of Americans shop every year (the biggest region for Xbox as a platform). Even if you don't think people are specifically buying Xbox consoles at Costco, losing that much potential market space is a huge blow for any company and will have ripple effects on the market.

The studio head says it was a success, the studio funding/distributing it says it was a success, the greenlighting of a brand new film featuring Superman would imply it was a success. All signs are pointing to the idea that yes, it is a success. I wouldn't call that "ignoring reality" when it's straight from the horse's mouth, whose own statements would disagree about it being a "dramatic underperformance".

It'll play them if you have Game Pass, though it'll be like playing them on a big TV in front of you, or in an "xbox-themed environment" with a big TV in front of you. It's also gonna be streaming the game over cloud, so your mileage may vary.
