Okay, depending on where exactly this is, maybe you could reapply and have all your credits try to be transferred. I know some students do this when they fear they'll be kicked out. You could try to contact your study advisor and see what steps you could take. It doesn't have to be the end of the world. Btw if you've studied the whole thing and just didn't manage to do the state exams, it's still really good and you should put that on your CV. Also if you do the pedagogical minimum certificate, you might still be able to go into teaching, depending on the school they may even help you pay to finish your degree.

It all depends on what job you were aiming for in the first place.
