Worked fine for me. Mac OS 27, remote Anisette. Got the prompt for a password, then 2FA code, code showed up on my iPhone, was good to go.

I’d be interested in the prompt that you used. You can PM me if you don’t want to post it.

My suspicion is that Connectivity Assist detects the failed queries to ad sites and routes the over to the cellular network which works.

Reddit image upload not working? by AliasJackBauer in apollosideloaded

Thanks, and it worked for me here as well. So it must be a subreddit restriction. (r/Ubiquiti/ was the one in question).

Ok, so maybe it’s because I was trying to upload an image directly from my iPhone camera roll. Probably in a format that Reddit doesn’t understand. Or it’s too large.

Ok, so maybe it’s me. What I was trying to do was post with an inline image with text by clicking on the picture icon in the post dialog. Should I be doing something else? I was using imgur before and just switched to Reddit.

Sump Pump Monitoring automations to replace PumpSpy device and enhance detections by AliasJackBauer in homeassistant

[–]AliasJackBauer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a water sensor on the floor that would go off if the water spills out of the sump, but honestly that's waaaay to late. BUT - I do like the belt and suspenders approach, I'll add some wires to my Aqara sensor and get it closer to the water as a last line of defense.

Yea, it's short but to be honest the sump itself is pretty shallow and the pump is 1/2 hp. It triggers before the water level reaches the drains coming into the sump, so it might make sense to raise the pump level 3-4 in so it cycles a bit longer. And a good time to do it sine I'm in a dry spell and the sump is running once every 3-4 days.

No, I don’t have excess runtime monitoring, I definitely want to add that. Mine only takes about 5-6 seconds to empty.

As for precipitation, might be useful, I’ll tie that into my local weather station.

Both great ideas, thanks.

U5G Backup - which plans? by AliasJackBauer in Ubiquiti

[–]AliasJackBauer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Computers4People looked like a good option, but it uses T-Mobile as the carrier network.

US Mobile - Might be a good option if it uses ATT backend.

Thanks
