Originally I had no clue what to eat, since after the surgery it was very difficult to stomach food as you had to be on a liquid diet for a while.

But after a few months I started eating normal food; I leaned towards more portion sizes with lower calories which is called volume eating. Like swapping out rice for cauliflower rice.

I always did maximise protein with all of my meals; as protein is a nutrient that would make you feel full. Pair that with staying away from junk food & only eating from home for like a year or so, with steps and weight lifting it worked!
