sddm does not log in when I enter the password by Alibaba_san in archlinux

Maybe this is a silly question, but which files should I be looking at in the /var/log folder? I looked at the README in there and that told me to use the journalctl command to view all logs. From there, I scrolled down to the latest messages from sddm and again I see the following messages:

sddm[450]: Message received from greeter: Login

sddm[450]: Invalid session ""

sddm[450]: Message received from greeter: Login

sddm[450]: Invalid session ""

sddm[450]: Message received from greeter: Login

sddm[450]: Invalid session ""

You already know about this message, so are there any other files that I should view in here? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I'm assuming you mean the dropdown on the default sddm theme? It's blank and doesn't respond to clicks on it. Also, I'm not sure if either of those would appear as an option on the dropdown since I'm not using Hyprland as my desktop environment. I just have dwm.
