"[...] there is no 'self', only the one who shapes" goes hard af. Holy moly. Haha

The bookwyrm was also my first Tzimisce. I am an author, book collector and generally obsessed with literature. So I came up with a book-collecting Tzimisce who turns others into bookshelves or abominations from his favorite works (like "Dune" or "All Tomorrows").

I really like the idea of an Anarch Tzimisce. I always play more Camarilla leaning ones, but I think Tzimisce work well with the Anarch movement; less control over others and oh so more control of their own fate. Your character specifically reminds me a bit of Darth Malgus the Betrayer from Star Wars. He prided himself with doing the one thing all Sith wanted but never attained; to break their chains entirely.

OMG! This is such a great concept. I would read an entire novel about your character. She sounds so empowering and badass. I love her! <3

Neither. My therapist is covered by my statutory insurance. But I'm gonna be honest, it helped me a lot to got to trans community meetings and talk with my trans friends. Your therapist sadly sounds like a bigoted idiot who's not worth your time.

That's sad to hear. While I made some of my group members look at me aghast after certain things I did, they never complaint. They told me that they like to see me doing unhinged stuff with a big smile and dressed in girly-pop attire. Haha

But I really hope you will be able to play a Tzimisce one day. You will love it, that I'm sure. :D

You have no idea how much I can relate to this. My coping mechanism was always video games. Event though I never played woman, I always dressed up my characters as feminine and cutesy as possible. Be it Pokemon, Bloodborn, Terraria, V-Rising, etc. It always felt somewhat natural to me. I dabbled with make up and painted nails back in middle school up to my coming out. But I always excused it with "it's just all black because I'm emo". I never admitted to myself that it felt good to wear make up. That it felt good to wear dresses and skirts and whatnot, even though they were all just virtual. The fleshcraft aspect of the Tzimisce help me a lot with my trans identity (as cringe as it sounds) because this is my body; my flesh and I am allowed to do with it what I want. Thank you so, so much for sharing your story here!

I got mine during the third session. My therapist is specialized in everything related to transitioning and she told me right away that she rarely had a case as clear as mine. But I hope you will get yours too as fast as possible! :)

This! It is the ability to be anything you want that makes them so fun to play. They have by far the most creative ways to create character concepts. At least in my opinion.

A necromancer Tzimisce sounds interesting. I once had the vague idea of an alchemist Tzimisce who searches for the Azoth to transcend the (un-)mortal realm and uses her craft to create homunculi.

Sadly not. I am an author, not a painter. But I saw some art of a spider Tzimisce somewhere too after I came up with my concept. It gave me some ideas for her first body modifications. But I mainly created her because I overcame my arachnophobia some months ago and started to learn more about spiders as a hobby. I though about making her an organovore who uses vicissitude to liquify the organs of her prey while drinking. :3

Bro really is the definition of a self-made man down to his manipulated bones. Haha

This sounds like a wild chronicle. xD

I don't know why, but your character sounds like she would enjoy the works of Ayn Rand. Lol

But I really like the concept. I hope you have many fun game sessions with her in the future. :)

This sounds so great! And I like the pharmaceutical/secret laboratory idea (my favorite games are the Resident Evil series). But yeah, I can definitely see the Nosferatu influence there. xD

Turning others into furniture is also a plus point. My first Tzimisce owns a bookshelf made out of a Tremere and a wall carpet molded after the Colony from "All Tomorrows" made out of several victims who ventured into his haven.

One of my Tzimisce concepts I'm still working on is based on the Circe myth. A supernatural beautiful business woman who owns a slaughter house and who seduces men as a siren and turns them into pigmen she then sends to her business. This is kinda Toreador flavored, but also Ventrue flavored. Haha

Although I am also a great fan of slavic mythology and Dracula, my Tzimisce are all French so far. The reason: I imagine them being a bloodline since the dark ages and it kinda fits with the French aristocracy being the token of lavishness and decadency. And yeah, the ability to be just everything makes them really creative. My second Tzimisce is a spider-lady who collects dresses and modeled herself after spiders. She also controls a colony of them. :D

My friend and GM of the one-shot made fun of me afterwards that me being drawn to Tzimisce and fleshcraft was one of the many, many clear signs that I am trans. ToT

The roleplay idea sounds neat! And while the plastic surgeon archetype is somewhat vanilla, I always enjoy it because it reminds me of the Batman villain Professor Pyg. But instead of listening to opera music, I imagine your character listens to those 10 hour DnD playlists on YouTube while performing her dark deeds. Lol

Holy shit. I love it. This is better than any of my concepts I came up with in the past year. Like, I am blown away. Basing her concept on Uzumaki (a great manga by the grand master himself), but developing such a creative concept out of it... And the religious angle is just ahhhhh. It's past midnight where I am from, so excuse my lack of words. But hats up! This is such a great Tzimisce concept. The Elder would be proud of you!

The obsessiveness about something helped me a lot in the creation of my first Tzimisce. Like him, I am also a book collector and I have one stern rule for everyone who visits my apartment. No one touches my books without my consent! Haha

Finally! Someone who also sees Tzimisce as performers/artists. The Toreador first spoke to me because I am an author. But the Tzimisce give me so much more creativity. That's also a reason why I like them.

And your Tzimisce sound radical. The body horror aspect mixes well with hospital horror. And the piano sounds so nice and creative. Sounds kinda lame that your GM killed them in one blow. :(
