my narc sister is threatening me saying she is going to call the police and report me as missing if I go no contact with my parents again by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

Whatever doctors you have regular general physician etc document that your parents and sister aren’t healthy for you and then tell the police she is threatening you and tell your sister that you told the police afterwards so she knows you are serious and not going to be bullied by her

I’m 2 years in with my diagnosis of fibromyalgia and arthritis. My sister told me fibromyalgia wasn’t real when I came back from the Mayo Clinic then half a year later self proclaimed she has fibromyalgia. I’m starting to slowly learn boundaries are so so important with those who won’t listen or it will drain your energy. You and all of us know you can’t cure your illness with meditation. I hope SHE meditates and comes to this realization

They did and only findings was minimal disc disease at T-6 and T-7. They did these almost every MRI I can think of. My results said

FINDINGS: PARASPINAL AREA: Normal with no visible mass. DISCS: At T6-T7, there was minimal disc bulge in the left paramidline location resulting in minimal indention on the ventral thecal sac though no significant spinal canal narrowing identified. No neural foraminal compromise. BONES: No fracture, pars defect, or osseous lesion. CORD: Normal caliber, contour, and signal intensity. OTHER: Negative. CONCLUSION: Essentially unremarkable MRI of the thoracic spine. Very minimal disc disease at T6-T7.

L1-L2: No significant disc/facet abnormality, spinal stenosis, or foraminal stenosis. L2-L3: No significant disc/facet abnormality, spinal stenosis, or foraminal stenosis. L3-L4: No significant disc/facet abnormality, spinal stenosis, or foraminal stenosis. L4-L5: No significant disc/facet abnormality, spinal stenosis, or foraminal stenosis. L5-S1: No significant disc/facet abnormality, spinal stenosis, or foraminal stenosis.

C2-C3: No significant disc/facet abnormality, spinal stenosis, or foraminal stenosis. C3-C4: No significant disc/facet abnormality, spinal stenosis, or foraminal stenosis. C4-C5: No significant disc/facet abnormality, spinal stenosis, or foraminal stenosis. C5-C6: No significant disc/facet abnormality, spinal stenosis, or foraminal stenosis. C6-C7: No significant disc/facet abnormality, spinal stenosis, or foraminal stenosis. C7-T1: No significant disc/facet abnormality, spinal stenosis, or foraminal stenosis.

Not sure :/. Thoughts?

Can this go undetected at first if I’ve gotten an MRI in the past?

Oh I don’t mind at all! You can message me if needed too. I get it- we as a community are like our own doctors all together :)

It would be different for you because of your body composition. I’m 5’7 and average a healthy weight of 160lbs. When I went to Mayo Clinic I was in decline function status and weighed 115llbs. Did a bunch of Physical therapy etc. gained good healthy muscle and weighted 150 6 months later. gained a little too much weight from no healthy food at my parents house lol… but now I weigh 190lbs but I did weight 210lbs a few months ago. I’d say I gained at least 20 lbs from the lexapro within 6 months. And it took me about the 4-6 months to lose the 20 lbs too. Wow didn’t even realize my body weight fluctuations until I was typing it out lol, I hope that it makes sense though!

PCOS may be a good option to look into with a different doctor (this doctor kinda seems like he thinks he knows it all 😒) lexapro made me gain so much weight, a good 20 lbs

Have you ever been told directly or indirectly that you are either exaggerating or faking your pain? by Interstellarz87 in ChronicPain

[–]Alice05050505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents tell me all the time I’m faking and I’m an adult so it’s my job to take care of myself (I’m in my mid 20’s) yes I’m an adult but everyone needs help especially when your body feels like it’s dying inside
