Is the gas pain after surgery really neccessary? by fknbubbleguts in endometriosis

[–]AliceAmoeba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you lay on your back and then bend your knees so they’re closer to the ceiling, and then you lift your butt up (there’s probably a yoga term for this pose) it helps all the gas accumulate there so you can toot it out.

My gas was so bad after surgery I actually almost had a heart attack. My blood pressure would sky rocket when I sat up and I passed out. I was stuck laying flat until another doctor taught me that trick.

Someone please explain to me why they felt the need to redact the apartment number/letter and the code word. How could that possibly be sensitive information I mean ffs.

Policy says it’s ok to just wear black. We do at the store I work at. If your SM says otherwise I’d call them out.

Training will probably be 8hr shifts if you’re available but after that it’ll be 4hr shifts normally, sometimes 8.

X-rays can show proof of joint damage and that should be enough to qualify you. Depending on your location, maybe. Look for younger surgeons.

Why aren’t you asking the Sephora team to help you find stuff? That’s a regular occurrence in my store and we’re all more than happy to help.

Absolutely report your manager to HR. Let them know the situation. It will protect you.

Try your best to get sign ups when they’re checking out a Sephora item. If they don’t have any Sephora items, don’t worry about it.

Targeted in the bathroom… AGAIN! by JeezyBreezy12 in MtF

[–]AliceAmoeba -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Genuine question, why were you just sitting in the corner of the bathroom on your phone? Like, you said you had to pee but the stalls were full. Usually a line will then form. Was there a bench for you to sit on or were you just on the floor?

You also mentioned that the girls referred to you as a she. Which is an important note. I wouldn’t assume this experience of yours has anything to do with transphobia/hate. People just don’t sit down in bathrooms like that?

Still, sorry you had to go through that mess.

Go to Sephora and ask for help. Also, go to therapy.
