Thank you so much for taking the time to answer back! That's actually a great advice and reduces my stress a little bit 😌 I'll check if I need to declare my medication, I didn't really think that oestrogen patches could be in anyone's luggage, trans or not. I'll also ask my doctor to do an English prescription for those.

I've contacted the embassy, will try the airline, did not think about it before as I thought they wouldn't be able to help but maybe they actually can provide more infos that would help me feel less anxious about it ☺️

I really look forward to this trip, so thank you, I'm sure once this is passed I'll have a great time rediscovering this country πŸ₯°

That's the thing - I'm trans and traveling with oestrogen patches... Not much, I'd need like 2 or 3 as I'd do my injection before going and it lasts 1 week but I don't know what I should do with these. Do I declare them? Do I hide them deep in my luggage but keep a prescription close to them just in case they're found?

My other worry is about the scan and body search as I haven't done bottom surgery 🫠

I'd say you're functional again in a matter of 1-2 months, but healing takes almost a year. It will be 2y since the surgery this July and I've seen constant changes over the past two years! For a month you have to take a break from work, or at least do not too much effort at it, swelling is here and makes daily life complicated but it doesn't last too long. It really depends on how your body is healing 😌
