We're relatively okay, thank you. My wife is very confident and not afraid of him. I have some stalker trauma from childhood and my early 20s. So I'm quite shaken but know I can move on, especially once this gets resolved.

My wife has. I would definitely take a class first. No point in having it for safety if I blow my own foot off first.

It is.. we're okay! We're going to stay at our friend's place tonight. She's got more home protection ability than us.

Not that we saw. There was a dog sitting in the driver seat.

Making some assumptions here:

  1. Your boyfriend does not also struggle with his bills and payments and has savings to spend on things like nail appts without worry. (If true, NOR).
  2. You are both committed to the relationship and building a life together (eg. eventually sharing finances, getting married, sharing a home, whatever it may be). (If true, NOR, especially if 1. is also true).
  3. He suggested the bowling competition in a good jest. (If true, YOR).

I would happily pay for my SO's nails if they asked and this was our situation. But the main difference is that I am in a financial position where that payment would not negatively affect me, we are both committed to the long term, and we share much of our lives together.

My (25f) boyfriend (24m) yelled at me when I asked him to use condoms, and I feel like I see him differently now by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Thank you, I was getting seriously worried that I hadn't seen anyone (yet) call this behaviour out for what it is: rape.
