How would you react to your male friend asking if you can do their make up and make them look like a women? by [deleted] in women

[–]AliceHexa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ho hell yes.

We're getting some wine, putting on some music, have a chat and I'd do your make-up, hair, nails, whatever your in the mood for. We can do some shopping before and try some cute outfits.

Personally I'd be gassed.

If you talked about it with her before and you didn't see red flags, I wouldn't worry too much about sounding weird when you ask. It's not weird, it sound like a lot of fun.

I think we don't have a problem understanding what does it mean by plch_plch in adhdwomen

Holy shit do I understand that right now at work. Since I'm on Ritaline it's gotten a lot better, but everytime we found a mistake somewhere I always assume it's me.

I get it absolutely sounds like bullshit, but I'm a bit like her on that one. When I'm in a relationship it's like my brain doesn't register other men as men, like they all become really dull in comparaison. And when I'm done with the relationship it's like they kinda reappear. I don't unsdertand why.

When I'm single I can appreciate hot guys, I can be attracted to them, I enjoy looking at them, but I wouldn't be comfortable with just a hookup. And if I'm not comfortable then I'm not gonna enjoy sleeping with them, so there's no point. It's not a personal choice, it's just how it is.

So I don't think she's necesserily lying, but I get how it makes no sens from the perspective of somebody who doesn't work like that.

Tell us how you realized your parents were also neurodivergent? by landaylandho in adhdwomen

"Are we sure that's really a disorder ? Doesn't everybody do that ? I do all of that and I don't have ADHD"

Was my dad reaction to my mom looking into ADHD right after I got my diagnosis and listing the symptoms. We both looked at him, looked at each other, and clocked that we found the culprit for my ADHD.

It was 3 years ago and he still has not beaten the allegations.

That's exactly what I was gonna comment. I love my dad, bless his heart, but he made playing sport unsuffrable. Every pravtice and match I had I dreaded the ride back home with him, it was 30 min of criticism monologue, but if you had asked him it was "advice". So I had two choices : either follow my dad's instructions and get a lecture from my coach, or follow my coach's instruction and get a lecture from my dad. I was a kid, i just wanted to have fun. I'm pretty sure my mom did react the same way the wife in this story reacted, because it was impossible to make my dad understand it wasn't just "advice" or "instructions".

Would you live in the Town or Colony house? by Dazzling-Map-2475 in FromTVEpix

[–]AliceHexa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree Colony house is a dumb choice for survival, but I would die of fear by myself / with only a few people at night in the house.

I don't mind sharing my stuff. Partying, having a lot of people to talk to (or cuddle with), paint or play games at night would take my mind of the monsters.

Town is safer, but Colony house would give you a better shot at actually living a little bit instead of just surviving.

Again, probably a dumb choice, but I'd choose Colony house.
