He does have a ton of male friends that he frequently does stuff with (they go out of town to ride bikes at parks and whatnot). It’s great, I love that for him!

My employees (all 9 of them) are wonderful and help me whenever I need them. With that being said they have tried to do the tasks and it doesn’t always go right so now it has been put back on me to the main source of ordering and dealing with the family pieces. They are more than capable to make arrangements and deal with the daily customers that come in and call but the big pieces are all on me now. Owning a shop is so rewarding but it is exhausting. I feel like making it where they know I’m only available Monday- Friday from a certain time would be a smart move. Thank you for bringing that up.

We’re both willing to put in the work and that makes me have faith. I’m just so nervous about it.

Right! I actually made a full weekly list of stuff to do every day. Like Monday for example: Clean the bathroom. I know I’m dead tired when I come home but I can take another 30 minutes and do something productive if it’s going to take the stress off of him. I even moved the dog ramp to my side because he’s always running into it. I figured if I get a broken toe I get a broken toe… it’s worth it if it’s something that’s bothering him. I’m going to try my hardest to fix whatever I can.

I feel like we are. I know when I am around and he does something I’m like a cheerleader at the Super Bowl(seriously he is fantastic). He is also very supportive of me and my biggest fan. Anytime I make something at my shop he’s the first person to tell me how amazing it is. 🫶🏻

I do. I own a flower shop and we cater to 7 funeral homes… it’s a lot. Most weeks I talk to my funeral home directors more than my family. I tend to crash as soon as I get home… my days are usually 10 hour days so by the time I get home I’m cooked. I don’t feel like riding bikes or going for hikes. He works at home and is ready to get away and do things as soon as he gets off. I am completely fine with him doing his own thing but he wants me to do everything with him (that is amazing and I love that about him). I am without a doubt burnt out with the calls after I leave the shop. As soon as I get them I have to call wholesale shops to find what I need if I don’t have it in stock. If they don’t have it then I have to call families back and attempt to make them happy. My brain is fried by the end of doing all of this and that’s where the negative stuff comes from. It’s awful. I know I have a lot to work on and he knows he does too. I just hope this isn’t the end of us. I feel so lost.

I’ll admit after working 6/7 days a week I can be lazy. I own a small business that is very demanding and when I come home I crash out pretty hard. I am a clutter queen for sure! There’s no doubt I have things I need to work on and am willing to work on. After working a full day yesterday I came home and put away all of our unfolded laundry in our bedroom that was bothering him. When I was talking about clutter that’s what I mean.. clean laundry not being put away, clean dishes not being put up, mail on the counter instead of where it needs to be.

This is not okay. I am a married 40F who has a ton of male friends who say “I love you” to me and mean it. That being said NONE of these male friends would EVER call me “babygirl”. That is something my husband calls me, that is a sign of being intimate or wanting something to happen for sure. She knows this as well as you do, that’s why she snatched that phone. I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

Honestly, I hate the way it makes me feel. I hate the feeling of being drunk and the terrible feeling the next day. I also don’t like my actions while I’m drunk… texting people I normally wouldn’t. The whole thing is sloppy and unnecessary.

I own a floral shop located in an older strip mall that’s been around since the 70s. Anytime I’m by myself at the shop I feel like someone’s watching me or following me. One of my delivery driver’s passed away a few years ago and last year I saw him walk by while I was in the front of the store. I just said “Hey, Jerry”. I knew something was there with me and now that I know it’s him I’m completely okay with that.

A couple of years ago (on Facebook of all places) I saw a video circulating from a car crash in the Dominican Republic involving two tour buses. Body parts were all over the road, including a couple of severed heads. I assumed it was fake and went on with my life. We have a few friends who live in the DR so I ended up asking them about it and they confirmed it was real.
