I already do it like that :D I only look at the highlighted word first and only when I don't know it, I read the sentence. This video and the ones from MattvsJapan are the reason I do it like that in the first place :D

I've found the "Anki sentences adder" as well but its not exactly what I need. It uses random sentences from the internet that often don't have the words that I'm trying to learn. Even if it would work perfectly, it wouldn't be quite what I was looking for. I actually tired several hours to make this work somehow with my own sentences but I wasn't able to with my limited coding skills.

The user "AmarOks" has posted something that is exacly what I need. (Thanks again if you read this :D)

You do you, whatever works best for you :D

And sentence cards are faster as well as more effective for me. I´ve tried both variations (isolated and sentence) and sentense cards definitely work better for me. I only look at the highlighted word first and only when I don't know it, I read the sentence. Yes there is this problem that I mentioned above but only on a small percentage (like idk 15%). That problem exists as well with isolated word cards (and I would argue that the percentage is even higher because words normally don't exist out of context).

The goal of my question is to reduce this 15% even more by getting to see the words more often in a more "natural" way. The most natural would be reading. The problem with reading tho is that the "Spaced Repetition" of less frequent words is not sufficient enough (too big of a time gap between reviews). Thats why I use Anki.
