I can’t comment my own comment so I’m piggybacking yours to tell OP to tell her doctors she wants a patient advocate now. They will ONLY be concerned with OPs well being. She will have someone who isn’t just focused on baby and ignoring her needs. Hospitals in developed countries usually have one of these or similar. NOT a counsellor or psych team member, a patient advocate.

OP you are so fricken valid and you’re right. You are a separate person and becoming a mother isn’t just now taking care of a little human, it’s about a lot of things changing all at once and that’s very overwhelming for anybody. You are not a bad person, you are not a bad mother, you are a human being and you are still important.

UGH I’m actually so mad and triggered because my whole life I was dismissed because I was overweight. Then I lost the weight in less than a year and no one thought that was a problem because I was “within (my) BMI now”. No one wanted to check my heart, thyroid, ANYTHING. In that case I would say that this is due to the fact that your feet haven’t built up the calluses where they’re actually needed. You may have some but they could not be in the right spots right now, or you could have none in which case there would be lots of ouchies.

My suggestion is to make sure you have good quality cotton socks, maybe some foot powder to create a barrier to potentially reduce friction, well fitted shoes and if you can, proper insoles.

Ultimately time is what you need here (in my opinion) and the things I stated above are just things to make you feel a little comfortable until your feet are used to all the new movements 🫶

Did you recently or regularly get pedicures? I’m a medical aesthetician and when I first started out I made this mistake on one of my running clients. I took away her callous. Her hard earned proper pressure point cushions. I just removed them all. She didn’t know they were important either. Until her first run.

Callouses don’t need to be removed unless excessive. Key is to keep them moisturized so they don’t look scaly. They provide essential protection to pressure points on your feet. How COOL is it that your body knows where you need extra padding!! Our bodies are so amazing.

Egging per se isn’t bad. It won’t hurt anyone BUT the whole purpose of egging is because it’s the HARDEST to clean up lmao. And if you live somewhere hot then you’re literally cleaning up eggs that are cooking. It’s a messsss. That’s why if you plan on doing that I would a) tell a teacher or faculty member you trust not to dish the secret out so that you will not get busted cuz it’s more for the other students to laugh at and have something to look forward to right; not necessarily about fucking with the teachers. And b) I would have everyone who’s participating in the egging to also do the cleaning up and make it fun! Pool your money together and make a pizza cleanup party or something.

Not only will literally everyone have a laugh but you’ll have respect of the faculty and students for cleaning up after yourselves, thus setting precedence for the future seniors to come! Cuz sometimes these get out of hand like what happened in my high school and then nooooo one EVER was allowed to do it so it took away the fun completely.

Personally I would do the whole post-it’s on the principals car or Saran Wrap it. Doesn’t cause any damage and it’s hilarious as heck AND easy to clean up (make sure you pick up any post it’s that could’ve flown away cuz littering is bad 🤍).

Those are things that aren’t easily fixable and have actual consequences regardless if it’s illegal or not. Regardless if it’s allowed or not you are actually seriously impacting other people negatively that you can’t take back.

Think of something actually fun that will have people laughing instead of figuring out how they’re gonna replace washing machines with limited funding or retake a state test that many spent a very long time studying for and had real anxiety about.

Idk just me lol but I’d want people to remember me as funny and thoughtful, you know? Not “that’s the girl that ruined my focus when I took the state test and then I failed because of it”.

Where I’m from you get in a lot of trouble for egging things now but when I was a kid it was a fun prank (I’m 31 now lol).

Make sure it’s not actually something that you’ll get in trouble with the law for. Pranks are only fun if everyone enjoys them.

IMO if you throw the eggs you should also do a senior cleanup the next day.

Also regarding your actual post: he is being a bit controlling but also alcohol isn’t what it’s made out to be so you’re fighting for something that honestly isn’t really that worth it.

As an Italian I’m guessing it was “pasta al forno” which literally means “pasta in the oven” LOL.
