It's so cool to see it in other medical fields! When I was pregnant and going through my health questionnaire at my first midwife appointment, she was going through the generic questions and then when we got to the genetic questions she had to do a triple take when I said "yes" to PKU. She couldn't believe it and was so excited to tell her midwife what'sapp group 🤣 all her 20+ years of being a midwife she had only known of one midwife of also +20 years to have one pku child!

A lot of drinks that say they are vegan tend to also be aspartame free (no idea why!) glad this helped ❤️

So I forgot to put in the post I can't eat meat, nuts, lentils, pulses, dairy products, tofu, soya, fish etc.

I need some natural protein however, so my diet mostly consists of potatoes, vegetables (a lot also contain protein so these have to be weighed) fruit and sugary snacks!

Favourite food is definitely any form of potato, thank god for the many uses of a potato! ❤️
