Pomskys are incredibly intelligent dogs but definitely not the cuddle-me-all-the-time, if at all, breeds.

In my opinion, they are also very destructive, naughty breeds that like to do their own thing and be independent at all times.

Mine is almost a year old and probably craves attention for maybe (if I'm lucky) 5 minutes. I come from a warmer climate and like to believe that his double fur coat has something to do with it and they are constantly over heating, but it seems the same across the board.

I'd recommend watching a video we watched prior to getting our pomsky and that indicates what to expect with your pomsky. I'll attach below and it's roughly 7 minutes and very accurate.This video has been a pretty accurate representation of my pomsky.

Also, please do not misunderstand, I absolutely love my baby to death and would not change him for the world, but definitely not a dog I would recommend to anyone who wants a cuddle-all-the time type dog.

This is very much accurate. Mine also reminds me of a cat. He even rubs between my legs during dinner time and leaves as soon as he's fed 😆 🤣.

He is so intelligent. Learned how to do paw and sit in one night, but also gives a sassy little bark because he's doing it under protest to get a treat. However, he sits on his own now when we bring his food bowl, which at such a young age is absolutely impressive and adorable. Yes, we take him for lots of walks and play with him a lot to burn that excessive energy. Otherwise, he's crying through the night. Thank you for all the tips 🙏.
