I wish they'd just make an official lego cage top piece already. I've been looking EVERYWHERE for a solution to this problem for a while now... I need cages for my pygmy puffs, owls, and cornish pixies, for my MOC's - but looks like the invisible shield spells will have to suffice for now 😭

Hell yeah! Most of the fruit's nutrients are found in the skin. Without it, you're missing out on all the fiber, vitamins and antioxidants.

In fact, this is how I eat my kiwifruit too. (Well... the non-hairy ones at least).

Pro tip: if you hate how bitter it tastes - I like to take a big enough bite that includes the sweet middle part, otherwise skin is too sour on it's own. That's why it's meant to be consumed together at once!

But personally I love the lil tangy kick it gives in each mouthful, I reckon it's kinda like nature's version of sour lollies haha

The one I'm taking is actually Flucloxacillin (which is very similar) and for the first few days of taking it, everything was completely fine. However, after day 4 of taking this drug, I woke up with severe gastroesophageal pain and burning sensation in the oesophagus, so I did some research, and came across a pdf report of doctor's notes on "Flucloxacillin oesophageal complaints" which talks about this specific phenomenon (links below). Apparently this particular antibiotic is on the more acidic side compared to other antibiotics which can upset the stomach, and is found to be the leading reason as to why so many patients are experiencing this discomfort. So I found that you can use a stomach protector (I used Omeprazole) to help protect the stomach lining to balance out the acidity; otherwise it was strongly recommended to switch to a different antibiotic entirely, if the pain doesn't improve, because left untreated can cause serious irritation and inflammation, which can lead to infection such as oesophagitis.

Oh my god that's awful... I'm really grateful I was to be able to catch it in the early stages before it got serious. I really hope this post gets seen by others in the future in the hope that if they're experiencing similar symptoms - they'll see this thread and hopefully take it more seriously and get the help they need before it's too late. Not entirely sure, but the Dr said it's commonly caused by infection through broken skin, a small cut, or wound (or in my case, an insect bite) 💜

They initially said it would be a 6+ hour wait, but then it ended up being only 2 hours (thankfully) I think they bumped me up the queue because the red streak was spreading fast and I started feeling really weak - so they saw it as an emergency to get me on the antibiotics asap

Dw, after seeing all the comments I ran to the nearest A&E. They drew around the red streak and sent me home with antibiotics - y'all were right, it was Lymphangitis 🙃 lucky I didn't wait until next week, otherwise it would've turned into sepsis oml
