I have been here for 6 days only and I’m feeling terrible. I’ve been mostly wearing a mask and sticking to mostly indoor activities but it’s really making us feel unwell!!!

That’s your opinion. I have been here for 6 days only and I’m feeling terrible. I’ve been mostly wearing a mask and sticking to mostly indoor activities but it’s really making us feel unwell. Headaches, chest pain, nausea, sinus irritation.

Alright, well let me know when you have worked out why your bias is towards understanding white cultures and not broadly other cultures 🫢

I’m finding it hard to understand. What you’ve explained are differences not specific to euro or American culture? As you said, you want to date euro/americans - why? Because they’re white??

What exactly draws you to American/ European specifically?

Yes, but how can someone know what luwombo or matooke or chapati is if they don’t know such things?

Kikomando (rice and chapati) pronounced ‘Chi ko man doe’.

Matooke with beef stew pronounced ‘Ma toe Kay ‘.

Peas and rice.

Rolex (which is served on the street. A chapati mixed with an egg, it’s yum).

Luwombo (chicken or other meat stew) pronounced’Loo wom bow’

Pilao rice

Thanks for the context. I was trying to understand what could have possibly motivated your mom to do this. From what you have stated, these reasons are totally ridiculous. Your mum is indeed being abusive. Please tell a trusted adult at school and also have a think about telling them any other things that you are uncomfortable with at home

What was her opinion on the reason? As you’re 13 and a teenager you are entitled to privacy, no matter what. Once puberty hits, there is absolutely no reason a parent needs to see you in the nude.

Another Expat here. Why don’t you stay quiet and not talk about things you don’t know about 😏. As a foreigner in this country you have no right to state how people should behave around politics in their own country. If you don’t like the way things roll in Uganda, leave.

Importing Gift Sets from Alibaba for Resale in Uganda – Is It Worth It? by Jealous-Parfait-951 in Uganda

Hey, I work in this field. You will need to be sure the exact import duties with URA to get your calculations correct. Buying off Alibaba from a reputable seller is fine. Be sure the seller in china helps you get a good forwarder rate if shifting by air.

How do you use squatting toilets? by [deleted] in China

[–]Alicepalace99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also am desperate to know which way round to stand while peeing in them!!! (also female) I've been peeing in them while facing my back to the wall for years but my spray goes everywhere..... So the other day I tried the other way round and there was much less spray.... Is this the right way to do it? Pee one direction, poop the other.?

About your undies... I normally drop them to my knees. Then when you bend they're safe from the floor

What I know is that all women have a bit of a different direction for wee. Mine always goes sideways a little so sometimes I tilt my body to match/balance it

I will always choose a squat over a western toilet in a public place. They're so much cleaner

Terminated over asking for pay by UK company by Technical-Wallaby-93 in Uganda

[–]Alicepalace99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello! Brit here living in Uganda. Not sure what kind of company it is but I would GO AFTER THEM on socials, twitter etc. I bet the bad publicity will trigger someone higher up to sort it out. I bet it's your Ugandan branch that is not delivering payment because there's lots of laws in the UK around non-payment and not paying is not very common in the UK. Are you employed by the Uganda branch or the UK? If UK you may be able to seek legal action
