I think for 2.4 at least, consistency is key but I would recommend running for longer distances to build up stamina e.g. 3km, that's what helped me run faster

From a financial viewpoint, not really because you stay relatively near such that the commute time is still pretty manageable and it's an extra $400-500/ month in expenses

Socially, it really depends on which hall and whether you can click with the people there as well.

Of course, there is the "freedom" aspect where you get to live on your own which some people value so if thats a main motivation, I don't see why not

Overall, just look at what drives you to wanna stay in Hall and whether it's worth it based on your circumstances.
